I think RR was actually 10-6. That shows how tough EC was last season. Not that they are not tough this season but season 14 was very special for APL and it's EC. LC did win though. Thanks WWR.

I couldn't remember the winners of those seasons. I think Elephant had been about even with Lion from 11 on, but I can't remember for sure.

Recent applies as well but we're talking about a conference and not a specific team. Lion has quality, just not as deep. The statement is typically that Elephant is superior and not that Lion sucks; big difference.

KoB is right.. nobody ever said that Lion sucks.. there have always been power house teams in both conferences.. he's the break down of S10-S14
S10-DD (Elephant)
S11-Angola Spider Monkeez (Lion)
S12- DD (Elephant)
S13- Dogs (oops) (Elephant)
S14- WWR (Lion)

S13 - Boston Dogs (Elephant)

The depth in Elephant the past 5 or so seasons is what made it brutal and the superior conference. There were teams that missed the playoffs that would've had a top 4 seed in almost every other pro conference (Ratels season 13 come to mind)

Lion and elephant have basically switched. Used to be, Elephant had 3-4 good teams and that was it while Lion had great depth and had people clawing away for playoff spots.

And you know it's too much fun to give Elephant a hard time about being superior when they aren't bringing home the Gold
