All I can say is wow...I really underestimated the Golden Eagles. Hats off to bignasty31 and company. Even though you lost you held your own against one of the powerhouses in the league and proved why we WILL be seeing you in the post season. Game two agaisnt the P-Town Ballers should be an easy victory for Casablanca. With an offensive line anchored by veteran G Chunky Assmunch, QB Sparxs McLuvin will just have more than enough time in the pocket to dismantle the Ballaz defense. Look for TE Kellen Winslow to have a big day today.

Ballaz owner dhammonds has really got his hands full this week. Coming off a loss to Gunston, P-town now faces a Golden Eagles squad hungry for a win. The Ballaz were able to generate some some decent yardage through the air with QB Chaddy Bledsoe, but were unable to establish their ground game. CB Prime Time Hammonds and LB Ballaz Hammonds played well vs. Gunston and will be key in the Casablanca matchup. These two starters are absolutely critical if P-Town even hopes to put up a fight defensively.

In the end P-town might surprise us on the offensive side of the ball and put up a few. However, their defense just cannot hang with the Golden Eagles (or any team for that matter).

Casablanca over P-town 35-3

Prediction Record: 14-2

Whoo hoo. Let's just say I hope you're right. Thanks for the props.

Lybia Dinosaurs (1-0-0 W1) VS. Egypt Dragons (0-1-0 L1)

http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=2873

Lybia had the misfortune of having to play the Bombers in it's season opener only to lose 20-3. Now they find themselves on the road agaisnt arguably the best team in the league. The Cleveland Bombers were able to hold Lybia's offense in check, and team Dragon is likely to do the same. C Patty "Cake" Pancake and company will have a hard time protecting QB Some Pig. This will be critical. Although Some Pig was not hurried last game, he threw 2 interceptions. His backup, QB Mike A7x, was sacked for an eight yard loss. Although Lybia's defense put out a decent effort last week with 4 tackles for loss and 2 forced fumbles, they allowed too many big playes to sneak through. That 20-3 loss should have been much closer. I suspect tactics played a part in this, but in order to hang with Egypt this week Lybia owner jbutchs and the DC can't afford those tactical mistakes.

The Egypt Dragons seem like the team to beat in the Elephant Conference and owner sniper24 wants to make sure you don't forget it! Breathing easy after nearly being upset by the Casablanca Golden Eagles, team Dragon now faces off against the 0-1 Lybia Dinosaurs. Led by the arm of star QB Jake Palmer, the Dragons threw for 218 yards against the Golden Eagles. The offensive line racked up 37 pancakes, 19 of which came from OT PJ Battle. Until Egypt runs into a secondary that can challenge their pass attack, you can expect to see Egypt rely on the pass. Egypt has a very well-rounded defense that is capable of hanging with pretty much any offense in the league. LB Tristan Hill had a great game against the Golden Eagles and should do even better against Libya's front 5.

Lybia has a good looking squad, but until I have a reason to believe otherwise...the Dragons are the team to beat.

Dragons over the Dinosaurs 38-0

Hopefully my boys can play as good as they did last game.

Seems like a fair prediction for the Bombers/Gunfighters game. It's going to be a slugfest.

Mozambique Terror Squad (0-1-0 L1) VS. Cairo Mummy Warriors (1-0-0 W1)

http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=2866&team2=2869

Damn you Terror Squad... you messed up my perfect prediction! This week Mozambique travels up the Nile to face the Mummy Warriors of Cairo. Last week the Terror Squad struggled offensively. QB Daniel Mattisson was able to connect with WR's Big Fryer and Craig Firestorm, but wasn't able to generate any signifigant yardage through the air. The offense line allowed 5 hurries in total and 8 tackles for loss. While the offense needs some retooling, the Terror Squad's defense kept it close. Another solid effort from linebackers and secondary will be key. K Analingus Mcgoo will hurt the Mummy Warriors if he gets close enough.

The duel in the desert is over, and Cairo has come out with the "W". HB's Sherbert Saucer and TD goals annihilated Luxor on the ground for a combined 232 yards and 1 TD a piece. Goals had a whopping 14 broken tackles in a single game. I would expect much of the same in this game, but now that Cairo is matched up agaisnt the Terror Squad's stronger defense it wouldn't surprise me one bit if QB Joe Montana 16 starts looking to his TE's and WR's. Cairo will be giving the Terror Squad plenty of headaches on the D. Look for Mozambique QB Daniel Mattison to be under A LOT of pressure this game.

Mozambique is a solid team, but I do not feel the Terror Squad's O will show up to play today. Im taking Cairo in this one. Although I expect Cairo's offense to be challenged this week, I think the Mummy Warrior's defense will make the difference in this one and handle business.

Mozambique loses to Cairo 13-27

37-6 is very disappointing. The only real resolve here is that we beat this spread. Somehow, that kind of qualifies as a victory?

Tough loss, but by so much... we got our asses beat
