You may very well suck at it but recruiting flat out sucks. I was talking to someone about that last night. The guy I was talking to and myself are very well connected with a bunch of top builders in GLB. Therefore, we have a big advantage over a lot (really, most) of owners in recruiting. It's a fuckton easier to recruit a "friend" than a stranger, and it still sucks for us. I started around week 4 last ssn and I bet there wasn't 4 days that I wasn't either looking for or talking to someone about bringing a dot to D9. I can't even imagine how hard it is for the majority, who don't have a bunch of "friends" to hit up for dots. Of all the dots I brought in, I only didn't know the agent before recruiting him on 7. That sounds like a lot, until you consider I turned over around 35 dots.

I'm not a math guy, but the formula seems simple. More teams than players. The teams keep coming and the players keep retiring. The thing that sucks the most is everyone thinks their guy is the greatest and it makes them act like T.O. in contract talks.

When they don't even respond to you or read their messages you know they have too many offers. One guy I signed said he had 75 offers, might not be true, but I bet it was close to that.

Anyway guess it's time to move on and try to survive with the big boys!

LMAO....OMG, some of the worst builds have agents that think they are the best. They actually believe the recruiting PM BS other owners send them about how great their dot is. The irony is that a lot of the very best dots I have, the owners are the exact opposite..."Well, you can have him, but I really @#$%ed up his build early by wasting 1 point" So, instead of having 145 str & 93 blking, he only has 141 str.

Don't feel bad... this happens to all of us. I pretty much recruit all season long and turn over about 1/2 the roster every season.
Besides dealing with Bort's stealth changes in the past, recruiting is the single worst part of the game. lol

If I could fill my entire team without signing my own (and GMs) players, I would! But its damn near impossible.

Not being a smart ass for a change, but I thought sledge did that for ya? At least that was the case on the DT we were both going for in the agent's pvt recruiting forum.

PS and yeah....On the agents I don't know, I have more PMs never responded to than actually get a response, as well. Happens to everyone

But i cant tell a good build from a build if i was sleeping with one and one was my second cousins sister.

Recruiting all depends on the dot and agent we are interested in.

LOL....Well, so much of the stuff I say to you/about WWR is just giving you guys shit that I almost feel like I have to point out the relatively rare times I'm not When I saw his post in that thread, I just guessed that was what he was focusing on these days.
