The part I found most amusing was that the "GM and VERY close friend that recommended he contact us" has been MIA for God knows how long, and, though he is such good, close and personal friends with the guy, he didn't realize that Cinderfan only owns the Shockers in title, he transferred the team in every meaningful way to me, something all the agents/GMs know. Actually, if it hadn't been the commitment I'd made to all the GMs on D9, I would have just bought it from him,

That was at the end of last reg ssn and we worked it out so I could "own" both teams. It's worked VERY well so far for both the Shockers and D9, though I could never keep the Shockers where the are in competition if it wasn't for massive help from JTD, MadMu, BadgerBacker and even help from cinderfan. I just get to talk big in the pvt forum and pretend to know what I'm doing. Those guys do most of the real work over there...We aint going anywhere, except to WL, of course

don't tell anyone, but I did hear that WWR is folding at the end of ssn. I'd start PMing all their agents now, before the real feeding frenzy begins

great write up. we silverbacks are both frustrated and happy with this season. not having our OC for essentially 10 games and playing much tougher competition, to finish around .500 was about the best we could hope for. but we believe next season should be better. that being said, we feel we cost ourselves at least two games because of the OC situation.

if only that would have happened, we would have earned the right to have our nutz stomped by a crazy rhino in the first round. all that pain for two million dollars. we are ho's for imaginary GLB money. expensive ho's!!!! but ho's nonetheless.

we have since talked with to the OC and he now understands real life needs are not anywhere near as important as GLB needs. he realizes vacations are for the off-season. he is serving his penance now and he will now be purchase a bottle of johnnie walker blue for me. the punishment must fit the crime. fat danny wont disappoint us again.

The Rhinos first season in the Pros wasn't pretty. lol Its totally different going from AAA to the APL.
You guys did fine this season, just keep up the effort and the wins will come.

I damn near sent all their agents recruiting PMs, but then figured it would be too much work (even if it was just a form letter type PM) for a laugh. Besides, I'm down to only needing 1 WR and 1 C for next ssn....what the hell would I do if they took me seriously and all jumped ship, which would be perfectly understandable, of course.
