Nah I don't think the Michelin Men and Gurupies will lose much morale in playing us before the playoffs.

Why in the world would we recruit a player who isn't as good as our current team? FTR, our CBs are damn good, we just couldn't replace our stud who got old on us. Recruiting is broken when you put someone on the block and get 40 offers a day for him--all cash. There are simply more teams than there are players to fill them. Even harder to get an agent who has an idea of what is going on. Normally you have to find a build that is salvageable and spend time "fixing" it. As the person chiefly responsible for recruiting on all of our teams every season since S1, I am comfortable with my previous statement. Feel free to continue to disagree. We can continue to agree to disagree and it won't make me think less of you. Other top teams have had to merge to solve recruiting problems so you may be one of the few owners who beleive there are no issues with recruiting. Maybe you're a recruiting GOD.

I was being sarcastic. I am very confident in our CB's and know that you could plug anyone of them into the starting lineup and they would do just fine.

Wolfpack, is that a Trading Block thread or a Team Looking for Players thread? Maybe you missed the memo, but there is another thread called Teams Looking for Players that all owners and GM's should use when recruiting. I attached the link in the event you couldn't find it:

No, I have a thread there too. They are different in the fact that the one you joined was regarding setting up early trade arraignments and the one on the Teams Looking for Players thread is dealing with FAs for the most part. I'm not sure why this is a difficult concept to grasp and I know that other organizations use similar methods and it has worked wonders for us. The past two seasons we had almost 100% of our players lined up through Free Agency and pretrade agreements before the previous season was even over so it is a tried and true method. I too am sorry YOU didn't get the memo. It was an important one. That was a joke btw.

Seriously guys, I thought I was clearly being lighthearted with my comments and I never thought you guys were actively trying to sabotage me but there is no doubt that out of respect you don't post in someone's recruiting thread unless it is something positive. I must confess that I thought the first two posters on that thread were from Indy but it turns out it was only the second guy so when I have said guys I was wrong but again it was all in jest for the most part anyway. In the future, if you want to avoid this, just refrain from having agents associated with you team posting stuff like that in "respected competition's" team threads.

I have no problem with you guys and I do not and have not claimed to be better than you in any way. In my thread I stated that we are #1 in OPL and HOPE to win the title and go to the WL and I hope you too have that aspiration.

If you guys are cool we are cool and this can be squashed so I guess it is up to you.

LOL, I never did get the Memo! Honestly when I posted It was all in fun, nothing more. Maybe because I am lucky and don't have to recruit for my own team, I am getting spoiled and forgot how tough it can be to recruit. Keep up the rankings, you need to keep the forums going! Best of luck...

I will do my best to keep some sort of writeup coming when I can. I am burning the candle at both ends this season and have honestly had trouble getting a lot of things done that I like to do outside of the actual game planning. I coordinate at several other teams too so it is a challenge getting it all done. I really am looking forward to the game against you guys as I like to play the best teams that I can and you guys are clearly at an elite level in OPL.
