I don't disagree in the least. Don't mean to derail what Galk has turned into a decent TT thread, but we have lost to them twice now (though last ssn we were way over populated with our group's ssn 1 Special Olympics dots and it would have taken the mother of all RNG screw jobs for us to beat them. So, that one is a hell of reach, at best).

It may not seem like it, but I have a hell of a lot of respect for the talents of randey & tricon. They're both damn good at what they do. I'm sure if I knew what StiffArm did, I'd be impressed, as well (not a backhanded compliment. I honestly just don't know what role he plays...Some owners are just the face of a team and others are very involved in various aspects.). Frankly, dot wise, I believe WWR has the most talented team in Lion. Sledge's DTs alone are scary good and I'll be thrilled to see them either leave next ssn or finally be brought back down to earth with a stiff decline.

Honestly, no BS, I don't know if we can beat them in the POs (assuming we both hold up our ends). I can tell you that I was extremely encouraged by our first game for several reasons, but that doesn't mean we will be able to pull it off. They are an extremely talented team, and I couldn't be more sincere about that.

Now, what any of that has to do with how we stack up against the Swaziland Dachshunds, I'm really not sure. Record envy, perhaps? Maybe because our trophy case is as full as yours in 3 ssns??? I don't know.

LOL....no one outside of 3 ppl know about the "good old days," and 2 of those 3 see it differently, I'm sure. The "good old days" are dead, and should be left that way, and had absolutely, positively nothing to do with StiffArm anyway. All I hope is that it created a fun and healthy rivalry. If it did that, I'm happy.

P.S. None of that was what I was referring to anyway

It's all good, just trying to make this forum a little bit more lively....To me, rivalries are what this game is all about, more so than the WPL or anything else. Having this team since the Africa League was created and earning our right to play in Pro, we have seen some great rivalries over the seasons. We need more of them!

I do agree, though....Why do you think I enjoy pushing WWR's buttons so much? Sure, a part of it was knowing what reaction tricon would have at reading my 10 cent hooker thread...kill, pain, hurt, humiliate, blah, blah, blah (not an insult, mean or malicious in any way, it just cracks me up...of course, I'm ruining that now by typing this, but WTH). The biggest part is that without rivalries this game isn't 1/8th as fun, and they're a damn worthy rival. We weren't last ssn and maybe are still a little short, but we will get there.

In summation, WWR sucks the lint balls from StiffArm's taint and we're going to make their entire team and staff our bitch in the POs (told ya I suck at TT)

D9 is at least 40 points better than WWR in the playoffs. What has that scrub team ever done in APL playoffs!
