Edit: Touchdown returns versus The Washington Bayhawks, and the Gotham Crusaders (the bad version of the Mad Wet Squirrels) don't really mean anything. Those were the 2 worse teams last season (Crusaders are only still here because of their first games as the Squirrels).

eh, i'm not feeling that all the way. what about all the teams that COULDN'T get TD returns on those guys? just cause they sucked, he still did what not too many people could do

Well, my thinking is that good returners should be judged against good teams, since their performances are more important in games like that. Hammond's returner getting a TD against Gotham did not really help the team, since they were killing them.

But Hammer's returns were pretty big plays. I will give that to him. Being 2 for 10 on kickoff returns is a damn good average.

So Hammer scores on Gotham and Laredo and he is good...but the Bengals Returner isnt good for scoring on them? I still am not sure how Edgeworth can be considered the best returner without taking it to the house...once?

One thing you have to consider also is the level of competition..

The Lesbians were 3-4 levels below everyone in this league last year--we were more even with the Crusaders and the Bayhawks.

Hammer did very well in the 4 games he returned and like you said ..2 for 10 when returning..all in key moments of the game

Larry Edgeworth got those numbers last year with the bottom of the depth chart blocking for him

Holy crap...92 speed!!?? How did you get it that high? It costs 2 SP after he reaches 50.

and 3 after 75. He's just an absolute freak. Not really a CB anymore, just a pure special teamer.

Only Carl can average 30 yds per punt on 6 attempts If it wasn't for the punter he would have had 3 TD's today.
