Funny, You didn't see me making claims of greatness about him now did you? He's started his career as the turd that beat my HS in the State Championship game and ended up as a gigantic waste of talent.

Stay on topic. Vince was one of the best college QBs ever to play the game. That does NOT always translate to NFL greatness.

I would take Vince(college Vince) over every one of those except Frazier.

youre crazy. Go back and look up what doug flutie, what john elway, what ty detmer did, what all of those guys did. If you think frazier was a better qb (in an option offense no less) than all of these guys are better than vince young.


He was a good college qb. but not GREAT.

If you can't read Cover 2 in the pro's your till will get cornholed. All the scrambling in the world will not help. When they move him th HB then we can talk about his "Greatness".

Some of those guys in college that you listed above couldn't hold a candle next to Danny Wuerrfel and Charlie Ward. Maybe the 2 best college QBs I have ever seen.

That's true, they were FANTASTIC college QB's. What's funny is that list could be renamed biggest pro flop QB's and you could leave it as is. With of course the exception being Charlie Ward who never stepped on a football field.

Are you comparing Gino Toretta to Vince Young? Aside from a Heisman (in a weak year) you have NO arguement. We are now dumber for reading your post.

Weak year ? He beat out Marshall Faulk, Drew Bledsoe, Charlie Ward, and Garrison Hurst.

He also threw for over 7,000 yards (twice as many as young) and twice as many td's.


The guy was a better college QB than vince young, homer.


Also as swamp said, Danny Awful and Charlie Ward were better.



Please, make an arguement on why he was better than toretta. Vince youngs td to int ratio sucked as well.
