We have a full roster ready to go, and we will be capable.

I am the co-owner of the Boston Goatwarriors Pee Wee team ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=6849 ), and I wanted to discuss with you the possibility of swapping leagues with one of the two Pee Wee Gold League teams that has openly expressed interest in demoting because they are not fielding competitive squads this season.

This thread ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=3691338&page=1 ) expresses the concerns of many of the Pee Wee owners and agents which are all clearly in agreement that if teams are not going to put forth an honest effort, they should not be in the Gold League. In the inaugural season of the Pee Wee Gold League, my own team the Tokyo Thoroughbreds were promoted in after winning a league championship. However, because the plans for a Pee Wee tier system were not in place when mid season recruiting was going on, I made the decision to use my Pee Wee team to slow build with. I was then stuck in the Gold League during Season 11, where most teams scored 200 points against us. Forcing teams to stay in the Gold League when they are not going to put forth the effort is counter productive, and does not promote quality games.

I see where you(Bort) have already rejected a request for demotion to the Cameron Copperheads, but I beg that you go to Bort and ask him to reconsider.

I just got the exact same response from my support ticket.

I replied back explaining we not signing anyone ... and we would be 0-16 in Gold. Also said we would not be competitive in Copper.. just need a season to clean up my AI and organize it..

I'll bug the heck out of them though.... doesn't make any sense for us to be here.

Maybe our CPU's can play your CPU's the first game?
We can scrim all season along with HHM, Cameron and Bafores Team. Gold is going to be like Copper if they keep this up.

Come on GLB just send us down to Copper so we can regroup.

Even though an easy Gold trophy would be nice, we need some damn competitive teams or this system sucks as bad as any.

Thanks for contacting us! I have sent this request up the ladder and unfortunately we are not moving Pee Wee teams to different leagues. All Pee Wee teams are remaining in their current levels based on performance last season.

Or a team from Silver can merge with us.

It's our money we spend and if we want to take a season or two to relax and regroup without giving up our teams we should be entitled to do so NOT AT THE EXPENSE OF RUINING GOLD.

Come on Bort, you need to listen to the requests and take action to move them down.

Bort and listen don't go together unless doesn't is in between them.

the way i see it, the less cometitive this league is, the less flex gets spent by agents. if that's what bort wants, then he shall get it.

ironically, we are denied demotion because the best teams should be in gold. hell, i couldnt agree more, so drop us!

Bort gets paid no matter of Dtown or CC play in Gold or Copper, so what's his incentive? The longer I stay in GLB the more I am realising it is ALL about money. Since PW is essentially the goose that lays the golden flex (no other league recycles CE and boosts at the rate we do since we start over each season) you can count on Bort listening in 1 of 2 conditions:

1. It will make him more money.
2. If it doesn't make him more money, there has to be a shit load of support from players who do make him money.

In this case, you don't have the first condition, and this thread is only at page 2 with only a few in support so you really don't have the second condition. Therefore, no action will be taken and it's why I don't buy flex anymore.

I said it a couple seasons ago; we are paying customers but are treated like GLB is freeware. No one listens or responds unless it affects Bort's bottom line. I have had to reduce the number of players I make each season (since I boost and CE my guys) and once it's gone, so am I. Customer service here is shit and throwing the PW faithful a bone every 2-3 seasons is just bullshit.

I really think Custom EQ should have an option to pay the flex over time. Competitive Pee Wee is too expensive, plain and simple.

I would like to see:
Custom EQ 200 Flex per season ... for 3 seasons. If you retire player after a season, you are not required to pay the 400 Flex.

This would reduce the upfront cost of a competitive Pee Wee player and.... probably not lose that much money since more people would buy custom EQ. This game is not setup to speed build and then succeed at later levels.

Right now, you have people that spend alot of money to win, get burned out. and move on.


To expand the speed building comment... I'd like to see a few different Instant gratification leagues.... that are separate from a long term player leagues.
Pee Wee Gold players and building Level 70 players do not go together..
