GL to you guys as well. For both our sake I hope the sim isn't as crazy as our last one, although it was really fun to watch.

Crazy FWIW I've had my eyes on your dots since we first scrimmaged DLDT in season 8. Every season after that I've looked to see how you were doing. Remember that PM I sent you in season 8 or 9 trying to figure out how long term oriented your slow building was?

I've had a feeling this day would come for a while

I knew we played earlier then season 10 I was desperately looking for that game.

TBH I thought it would be next season and not this one.

I was just going back through the old DLDT forums I am pretty sure our win over Val in those scrimmage games were considered big.

I am kind of pissed off that stobie told me about 15 times this off season to not add Hail MAry

I am ranting now.

Pretty sure if DLDT/DD/Val merged it would put up scores that would crash the server Sucks bort nerfed big rosters lol.

The results can be very different, with some of the biggest fluctuations being with the playcalls and not necessarily with individual rolls (make a tackle or don't)

In our playoff game, there was a situation where we had a package calling for a certain play 40% of the time. The RNG called that play 6 out of 7 times. With the defense they were using, either of the other two plays that accounted for 60% of the probability would have been great gains.

If the game were re-run and the calls were reversed, with the dud only getting 1 out of 7 plays, that makes a huge difference. We probably convert at least two or three extra drives where had to punt.

That is just one package. Multiply that times all of the packages, on both offense and defense, and there is a chance for wild swings in scores.

Why not schedule a scrimmage for the same time as the real game?

Not if you do it scientifically.

Unfortunately it requires too much care.
