In all seriousness, it's a Lincoln tradition. Usually something along the lines of "Lincoln is saying goodbye" "...to all the teams getting demoted blah blah blah". We've been doing it since...well...probably season 4 or 5. Anyways, I wanted to switch it up by actually using the word gut, and you can really only gut one thing. Fish.

So anyways, that's what spawned free grilled salmon day at Edward "Babe" Gomez Memorial Stadium.
