I am not a fan of the capped leagues. I'd rather the leagues by managed by supply and demand. If teams go for the big guys, they will bankrupt themselves. I set and have maintained a budget.

This league will become that next season when the cap is lifted!

If it's lifted next season fine, but I think it should at least gradually raise this season. Those 13 that signed in the preseason are now lvl 15's. So if your a top team, and you want to sign starting talent to keep up with those teams talentwise, you cant. Why not raise it a lvl every 10 days? It'll still only be 17 at the seasons end, and you'll still be signing the same group of players you were at the beginning of the season.

It sucks for the teams that will be moving to AA next season. We have to recruit players for this capped league, but next year, we'll be competing against teams that have had the ability to recruit and sign high level players for at least a whole season more than us. We'll be WAY behind. I look forward to the challenge though.

It takes roughly one season to go from 7 to 15, then boost to 18, but then it takes ficking forever to get to 21, so the gap between the top team here and the mid-pack team in the next division will be about 3 levels or so, not too bad and if you have a team of quality builds you'll be fine. (I say 'you'll' because we ain't going up, lol) I believe its set up to slow down that much because to focus will go from levels to builds. I would be more worried now about getting those young great builds then I would be levels heading into next season. The highest guy in the whole game right now is only a level 26, and there are only 4 of them, then there is only 19 25's right now. So the levels slow down. It won't be the end of the world, but you may not go in and dominate like some are now, but it'll be competitive.

I agree completely. I built my team for long term success financially and with the players I signed. I am gradually making some changes to the roster, and we will eventually catch up to the pack. It may take a season or two, but I feel I will have the money built and be able to sell enough game tickets to be able to pay the guys I have and keep them happy. No sense having a team with higher level player, and not being able to bring in enough cash to pay them later in their career. Only time will tell if this is the right call, but I am confident it will all work out.

I think for the leagues not to explode next year it would be wise to gradually raise the Level Cap this season. I posted this on the "Suggestions" board, but nobody commented on it.

Can you say "flood"?
The influx of high levels will kill the team chemistry on almost every team!
not on mine, I'm, building from within. I see maybe 4 players coming in. maybe 5.

It won't matter in a few seasons. I'm just waiting until B leagues are just as high as Pro leagues. It won't happen exact level by level, but the levels at that level won't mean as much as builds.

Word, I do NOT want to go through as much recruiting as I had to do last season.

I don't think it'll happen really. There will be some but given a random 20+ player, who's he going to sign with? The USA Pro league or the Europe West A league. How about even the Europe West Pro, AAA or AA leagues. Players look for prestige too, especially when they have 100 contract offers in their mailboxes. There are only so many top level guys at the moment.
And I agree, I would hate to have to recruit 40 new players next season. That would just suck!

considering my team went from lvl 11-13 to 19-21 I think some of you calculations are far off. some of you that thought you would save cash for the long run were duped. just by making the 1st round of the playoffs gave me enough cash to afford my team for next season and stadium construction. if we were signing a bunch of 20+'s I could see where your coming from not being able to afford contracts but we were talking about 13's. if you can't afford the progression of lvl 13's with the 4 mil you should have gotten in ticket sales your a severe mismanager of money and might want someone else to take care of it for you. p.s. if you set the right projected salary and give the right bonuses and your players are smart enough to train on relaxed always thus lessening the burden on the team come equipment time you may be doing quite a bit better. but then again they have to like you and be willing to renegotiate. go ahead and bring in your "flood", which is ridiculous, who would want to kill their chem like that. I've been able to mold to mold my guys up to level 21 to my scheme why would I want them to go? good luck to all of you trying to find that perfect piece to your puzzle along with the other 100 trying to land that piece also. oh and btw recruiting isn't nearly as hard if your a proven winner. you should have made that your goal this season money grubbers. while your writing 4 page essays trying to get players we have players contacting us in the lvl 24 range wanting to play for us next season. if you have the heart desire and drive of a champion you'll attract those players. if you want to be vanilla then don't be upset when you have a team full of mediocre players. sorry but the first thing a player does when he checks you out to see if you'd be a good fit is not check out your cash flow to see how well your doing there. we were all given the same opportunities to land the same players some of you just decided to take a nap though it or let the player market dictate your team. I wanted moldable lvl 13's that are active boosting and had custom and I settled for nothing less even in my depth. players see that and want to be a part of things like that. as for the level cap take the highest lvl player in A and make the cap 3 levels lower than that. if im not mistaken that would make the new cap 18. this would allow teams to stay together and give those other abit of a chance to catch up. so if they sign at 18 and for some god awful reason they were hanging on to their boosts they could use them to be in their mind equal to the top level players for the start of season 4. I might even lower it to 17 to make it a little more competitive. and seriously if I were looking for an 18 and he had 3 boosts left this late in the season I think that alone would cause me some hesitation. I like the level cap and I disagree with it also I could care less if there is one or isnt. try learning how to win and player build and using tactics instead of trying to mold the game around your mediocre ways. your points are laughable at best. trust me people want to come to this league you just have to know what to say and show them, stop blaming the pro leagues and usa. I call bs on them getting all the better players because they have contacted us all the way in the a leagues of west Europe to play. seriously put in the time and effort and you'll be rewarded graciously. like I've always said excuses are like assholes and all of yours stink.

I disagree. Players look for playing time. Most who have been around know that there are a handful of leagues/teams where it simply isn't fun to be on even if they are 'prestigous'

I know someone said that level 26 is the highest player in the game right now. Wrong! Level 31...
