Sure wished Bort would think about Locked Leagues so that we always had good competition and rivalries going again like back in the early days of this game.
He doesn't think about a lot of shit. In general I think there are way too many teams for the # of players in the game. Every year about 25% of the teams in GLB have CPU rosters. Now if their still is an owner I', not sure what you do about that. But in the 4 Africa AAs he couldn't fit all the CPUs in 1 league. So, we have about 30-35% CPU owned teams in Africa AA. He used to really limit the # of teams he released each year. You really need to staff a programmer (or 2) just to handle details. At some point I think Bort decided to reap whatever profits he could. Really there are already sim games linked off of Fox Sports. YOu can't watch the games and you can't build players but they have rights NFL player names. SO you can draft from a number of current and historical teams. It's still in the stages where you set it up, run the sim & look at the stats and score. But it's the first time I've seen something directly in the vein of this game. And if anyone ever decides to do a game like this, they won't spend 2 years testing it live. They'll get it together, test for a short time live, and that's it.
