The forum is dead partly because very little of the league is really competitive. Half the league is already CPU and/or Gutted and Bort reshuffled AA to get rid of the CPU teams that were originally scattered throughout AA. So that's a pretty pitiful situation to see the leagues full of them already , when we're not even midway through the season.

It also doesn't help to have teams like us that jumped at the opportunity to move up to AA rather than rot in the capped system. We're greatly outleveled here to any teams actually trying. I don't really think its very fixable and I actually think the game is dying.

I don't by any means think the game is dying. I think the teams, with all due respect, that are complaining about being out leveled should hit recruiting earlier and try to get a jump on the talent. Recruit better builds, get better staff, etc. Everyone has control of their own organization and I'm not going to sit here and tell anyone how to run it, but if you don't feel you can compete at a higher level you shouldn't be in a higher level imo.

I OC at a team that did this and we are experiencing the same feeling. It was a good decision in some respects but there is already some unrest and when people lose their interest it is sometimes hard to regain it. All I can say is you need to communicate well with your agents throughout this rough patch and with diligent recruiting you can actually use the promotion to jump start your 'high level' recruiting. Hang in there. I know it's tough but it can be done!!!

Yea, except I know about 90% of my players agents. We're all from stucknut.com, you know, the Jim Rome thing. Anyways, we are a slowbuild from season 7 so besides the little needed recruiting from inactives or retiring players, we stick together and level up.

We're the 3rd team of a network of about 6. Rather than recruit old, high leveled flawed builds, we stick with the core and ride out the level differences we're seeing like this season and last. I'm not complaining, and I wasnt talking about the game dying only from my teams standpoint. There just isn't as big of a demand for new teams. I've been around since season 1 and Bort is just kind of an asshole tbh. Nerfs everything every like 4 games. Its just getting kind of old. The forums are over-modded. If it wasn't for the investment I've already made, I probably would have walked away a long time ago. I know a lot of people feel the same way.

Still relatively young teams. The decline hasn't really hit other teams as hard as we all seemed to think it would but its all good. Making the jump was actually decided on to just get the hell out of the minors. This decision was made before the newest cap system was in place. Before there was even a level 42 cap. So in reality, we passed up on what was probably going to be a deep run in the playoffs and a good look at hardware.

Yeah, I look at it as a pro/con thing:

Pro: By staying we would have had a look at one or two more minor league trophies.
Con: If we had stayed, there's no guarantee we make it to AA.

I'm still happy with our decision, as passage to AA is never guaranteed.

Dook, i wasn't calling you out specifically, not by any means. I'm just saying that there seems to be a somewhat 'consistent' existence of what I mentioned. I think your team has got great potential and will do very well here in the future.
