I don't see why people should be so angry or disappointed with declining promotion cause it's an OPTION! I thought Bort was a pretty reasonable guy, but his post in the World League Forums about Africa definitely rubs me the wrong way! He has total control of how Promotion/ Demotion works in this game! His decision was to offer an option to teams for World League Promotion, then he criticizes them for taking one of the options that he has offered in this game!

In all honesty, the entire league is a joke and what Bort did yesterday was 100% out of line and he should post in the APL forum directly, but I doubt that is going to happen. The reality of this league is now that in order to compete at the highest level you either need to slow build with a handful of agents or merge with other teams. With that being said, I have nothing against what DD did as far as merging, shit if we had younger players I would probably have been a part of it (at least I like to think so). But, because DD went that route, our league as a whole should not be called out for utilizing an option that is placed in the game for no apparent reason. Say what you want, but I have been guilty of using the phrase "you should not even be in this league, you were placed here" and now I am expected to take a free pass to the WPL? Not my style, but I have some things in the works to see if we can get the GRiTs out of APL and into WPL to ease the wet panties in a bunch crew. The bottom line, regular season wins mean shit in this game and every other game, playoffs are what matter and we have yet to get it done...Call me a pussy or bitch, really could care less, but for the sake of Elephant, you should hope we do make the move because if we don't you will all be in for a long, long season....
