WL has nothing to do with ending DeS. But I have to say that the WL is a wrecking ball for the Pro Leagues. Its not enough that the WL vibe sucks so hard as to make WL insufferable - WL sucks so hard that it takes the life out of the Pro leagues to boot. Who wants to stick around at Pros when the best you'll ever do is make it to WL just as your team needs to rebuild - so you hang on for a season of 40+ days surrounded by a bunch of system rigging attention whoring pricks?

The obvious answer is a post-post season playoff system instead of WL, but that will likely never happen.

The WL is great once all the teams who GM for every other Pro team get there, they are screwed....That is why you should only be able to GM for 1 team per level, pro, aaa,etc

The WL is trash. Yes most of the best teams are there but most of the idiots are there as well. I dont know how many times I went to the forum to see every non sticky thread locked.

It was no fun and I was sorta glad to be coming back to APL but the way its shaking out there might not be anyone left here next season lol.

The WL forums suck. Freddie's season up there wasn't very fun.

And don't worry Freddie will "be in APL" next season one way or another

I used to worry about the cross GM stuff until I realized that there's only so many good teams out there. Seriously, I now have players on Bone Saw's and Lovie's teams. They both started them many seasons ago and have run them up the ladder the right way. I would not be surprised in the least if they both make it WL and likely at the same time. If I had kept DeS around there's a chance we could have made it, too. That's 3 teams that could have been in WL at the same time all run by the same guys. Collusion? No. There's just only so many people in the game who know what they're doing. They tend to make it to the top. They also tend to be involved with more than one team. Come playoff time they have to make their own decisions on how to play it. Its not that hard to make a fire wall. Just do the game planning privately. Is there room for hijinks? Yeah. Does purity trolling make the game better? Not really.

I say this as a build from within, agent loyalty comes first kinda guy.

Dude I had to come back here to say you are hands down one of the classiest owners that I have ever had the pleasure to play against. You are without a doubt one of my favorite people I've met in this game and it was indeed an honor to go to battle against you.
