Yes, strength. I would also change the downfield blocker VA to workout warrior during the off-season if there is a VA reset to give you some add'l strength. That would give you 130+ total strength.

I like what you've done with the build. Definite improvement.

If I were you I'd get rid of Pass Blocker, Goal Line Blocker, and Downfield Blocker.

Add WW for sure.

If you get a lot of pancakes, add Showboat Blocker.

If you have trouble with pass blocking, keep Pass Blocker.

I'm not sure what type of team you're on, but if I was on a team that was consistently down 14+ I'd add Big Heart for sure.

Wouldn't necessarily get rid of Pass Blocker. It's more useful than Goalline Blocker and Downfield Blocker. Stone Wall appears to be the main VA missing.

Stonewall is useless garbage but maybe that's just me.

I find anything to do with pass blocking except Line General to be completely useless.

If you have problems with pass blocking you are either facing competition 15+ levels higher than you or you f-cked up your build beyond repair.

How much strength would be expected at 54?

Thanks. My level 54 guy has a pretty good build and holds his own now, but is "eh" at 123 Str. Seven points are in a basic Blocking piece, bringing that to 95. I know he would get more pancakes with those seven points in Str, but is that the whole picture? What's the costs/benefits of him moving those points to Str?

I should add, he plays behind a nearly identical build, with the major differences being all the other guy's EQ is in Str, and his Spd is done--my guy has been a little more patient in training Spd all the down before puting points in it. The other guy won the pancake title this season (587). My guy gets more Fame, despite only getting 2/3 the reps as backup and on STs, and getting way fewer pancakes (260). That leads to my being tentative in moving those points. Thoughts?

Sorry for all the edits, just struggled with not disclosing too much about the other guy's build.

What do you mean is that the whole picture?

What does the 7 blocking do for you? What does fame do for you?

ALL eqp should be in strength for a center.

Agreed. Blocking at 88 is plenty. Move the extra 7 over to strength.

Just a question. By moving those points, I want to make sure I'm doing what is good overall, and not just doing it for a gloss stat. I have no idea.

Thus, my question. Are you saying Blocking doesn't do anything?

Fame = VPs = VAs = A key component of the game

Blocking is important for a Center, but if you have more than 80-90 or so, you start to see diminishing returns. The extra equipment will improve you player more and show more results if it is in strength instead. This helps Centers hold up against the high strength DTs.
