Yeah I seem to be having a really hard time signing a couple positions now...I'm not just throwing endless contracts out, but the ones I do send are rejected...prolly some psycho owner out there giving insane offers making my reasonable ones look like dirt...heh

I feel bad for the brand new teams trying to get players. I've had a hell of a time just getting the people on my team and had a create a couple just to have backups.

It's terrible trying to find people who want to provide depth for a first year team even with the many GLB vets we have and our excellent coaching staff. People are in it for themselves for the most part and it's hard to convince people what you offer when you have not even player one season.

I'm at the point where the incessant PMing people has just taken it's drain on me. I'm very comfortable with the team we've put together so far and went to ask our guys if they want to create some people to create immediate depth, too. We have a good number of outstanding contracts (10-11 contracts) to well built players, but realistically, I expect maybe one to be signed, if that.
The D Leagues are going to be empty this season.

I hear ya pike. I'm trying to get some current team members to start a guy and boost for the depth positions. Everyone on this games thinks their LV3 OT will start...

Apparently, they've put a level cap on some of the new leagues for the first season, but it's something like 14 so it shouldn't affect the leagues too much. You can tell I'm glad we didn't have that limitation.
