AA4 isn't extremely active. You might have been spoiled by AAA2 in that regards. I look forward to seeing how you two stack up in my Power Rankings once the season gets going again. New formula, new slate, and two new teams mixing things up.

I look forward to them always moontayle, you do great work. AA4 isn't overly active I believe teams stay more active amongst themselves apart from moontayle's power rankings, and crazy's Awards

Yeah, and occasionally Infiniti will through in game predictions here and there. We don't talk in these forums much, though I wish people would... I always love seeing new posts. It seems that most people just stick to the team forums and communicate that way.

Well we'll have to change the trend of non-posting hehe.

Todo, out of curiosity, how many teams in AA4 Alpha have made moves so far during the offseason? I'm just looking through each team, doing some scouting reports, and i'm not seeing much depth amongst the top Alpha teams. Is this normal for the league, to rely on starters? Or have teams made offseason rebuilding type moves?

To be completely honest, Vandals rely a lot on our starters, but though our backups may be a bit lower level, most backups were made after people got a better understanding of the game, so their builds are typically significantly better. As we found out last season, the levels of players don't matter at all. The leader of the Alpha league, The Dallas Smoke Stacks were VERY low level in regards to the other teams, but their builds were staggeringly better.

That's not to say we haven't lost our share of players over the offseason, however. Quite a few of our backups decided that they wanted to be the number one's on the team so they went searching for other teams in the offseason. In my opinion, these issues deal with both of the above though... Relying on starters and a lack of people wanting to play backup.

Cool, thanks for the reply. I agree about levels vs. builds. Just interesting to see.

Looking forward to reading your ratings, Moontayle, after sawe's. Also, looking forward to maybe being included in a detailed write-up once in a while, instead of a term used to describe a team that is totally out-matched. Haha.

To be honest, I think the game will take on a completely different feel this season after being in EEAAA2. We'll have to try and drum up some friendly competition in the forums.

We let our actions do the talking in this league. In fact, Odessa who had the right to run their mouths off all season, never really did. The Cows are classy as well. We jabbed a bit w/ the Stacks but it was friendly.

I think a lot of it has to do w/ no one wanting to give up strategies, etc.

Cobras Coiled and ready to strike the warriors vengefully.(granted it doesn't look that way on the match up or the fact we've lost to them twice, perhaps I'm just not very good at this trash talk business)

Die warriors, we'll be pouring maple sauce over our pancakes!!!
