I'd have to agree with Y2J on this one. The best team was obviously in the East, but the better conference was in the West. Kind of a moot point now since the best team from each conference is moving up anyhow. Plus we know why the sin are so good, as we'll be doing the same stuff next season.

As for East vs West I would put the Sharks, Grizz, Tigers and Wolves against anyone in the West and guarantee a good game. The problem will always be they don't play crossover games enough to ever truely be able to tell. The Monkeys moved the ball on us well today, and I can't say that if we played them tomorrow we would come out on top. The same with all the teams we played in the playoffs, the talent is there its a matter of getting the right matchups and playing your game or the opponents game. Anyway it was good to be a part of this league... websites, hoochie momma owners and even some lesbians... great forums, we will be sad to go. Take care everyone.

Puuhhlease. The East was the better conference no matter how you want to spin it. At least the top 5 or 6 teams anyway.

If that's the case then why did the whole east get absolutely SPANKED by the sin while the monkeys, who lost to the pewnts and bengals beat us pretty good, had a great game that went down to the 4th quarter. You guys had one really good team and thats it. Look theres no need to argue this, I'm looking forward to you guys getting spanked by the pewnts or bengals next season, if you even make it that far.

Im not sure how you can justify "Spanked" as if it means anything...The Bolts were "Spanked" by the Sin at the end of the season, yet put up tough games all year against many teams...

The Monkeys were "Spanked" by the Pewnts and the Bengals...yet won the conference...

The Bayou Bengals were "Spanked" by the Twin City Wildcats...yet the Wildcats were beaten by the Raiders...

In other words...being spanked or losing by a point...really not much of a difference in the fact both our losses no matter how you cut it and the next day the exact opposite could very well happen.

Congrats on almost pulling off the win over the Sin...but in no way does your moral victory say that the West is a ridiculously great conference compared to the East.

Good job Monkeys, good luck in the next league but remember, you owe us Bayou Bengals another go 'round as we are 1-1! Grats Sin and good luck to you guys as well!

Congrats Sin. That was a nice run you had to end the season. Great season as well, Monkeys. Give 'em hell in AA!

bottom line is the east took this years title. Lucky for us we get to do it all again in season 3.

Here's to all the rankings from here on out, they add to the flavor of our league for sure. But we have to wait 40+ more days to see who is the best in S3.

Moral victories are not real victories, but if you want to play that game . . .

Only the Sin had more USA #4 victories than the GC did.
We beat the Sin.

Ya see, its kinda dumb. Do I need to keep going?

Nobody ran on us all year. Sin didn't either until they were clocking it in the 4th. ( But that is also good part on Sin's gameplan also.)

See how dumb this is.
Ok, good.

Congrats Sin and Monkeys. Can't wait to play smashmouth with the Grizz again. Thats the game I'm looking forward to the most next season.

P.s. love u hammond

preemptive edit: non-scrimmage comment, just love

Hammond got crushed today though, but yes it was just a "scrimmage" and it looks like they threw more than they typically do but then again so did we.

I think the Sharks would beat the Monkeys. If you look at it on paper though you guys have way higher level players than the Sin in most positions so your loss can be chalked up purely to poor tactics. That must sting a little right?

You can't be serious. We had LBs playing RB and FS playing DE. Our starting QB barely even played. All of our backups were the starters. Don't give me that B.S.
