I went to one of the best public school systems in the US, so it's hard for me to say, but there does seem to be a lot of concern over US Public Schooling these days.

I went to one of the best public school systems in the US, so it's hard for me to say, but there does seem to be a lot of concern over US Public Schooling these days.


Public school teachers are typically much better teachers than those at private schools. However, the fact that you are not entitled to a private school education makes discipline much easier to handle for the private school. Even bad teachers can produce good students when the students are good to begin with.

This. Most private schools done require teachers to be able to pass the state certification and thats where a lot of teachers who cant pass it go for a job. Doesn't make them a bad teacher at all, public schools are just more demanding IMO.

As far as public school teachers, they do fucking suck. There's a reason the market is fucking flooded for that position, and fucking lunatics such as yourself get those jobs.

As far as "bitch slaping (him) a new one" I highly doubt you want to get into the conversation about why public schooling in America is a fucking joke right now. Actually, that's probably why you asked for it in PM, the last time you tried to bring it out in public you got your fucking ass handed to you on the subject... I was there, I saw it.

We could start with why the scoring on standardized testing should be an acceptable standard for gauging teacher performance and job security.

More demanding? On who? With a private school you better fucking teach the kids something or you're ass is out there looking for a job again.

I doubt any reasonable statistics exist on the subject, i.e. nothing but biased bullshit is all you will find, but I speak from personal experience when I talk about how much trouble I had with the math classes required for my undergrad... and I finished near the top of my class in high school math.

But when I would study with others I could tell within 5 minutes who had gotten a private school education. They were solving the problems in ways our college professors didn't bother to teach us because it would have taken too long.
