Hopefully our boys are just testing stuff out, getting ready to unleash some Oceania fury.
Also look at it like this though. No matter how our guys do up there, it'll make this league better, because we'll raise our own bar. We'll seek to achieve an even greater level of competition and considering the recruiting that goes on for the teams here every season, we all know we're damn well capable of it.
I see a few wins on that list of scrimmages. That counts for something imo. Soon enough, Oceania will be proving to people just how good they are.
As far as Osaka, you can run your mouth regardless of being the DC for the Gangsters, but you're a team that bailed on Oceania because you couldn't win, as I recall, so, you're the last person that has room to run your mouth about World League Competitiveness.
WTF? DC for the Gangsters? I'm not exactly sure who the frig you think I am. I've never DC'ed an Oceania team other than the Pirates and we've been fighting our way up from AA since Season 3. We may be a raggedy collection of drunks, womanizers, and misfits ... and yes, a former DE was implicated in some questionable financial dealings with an unnamed congressman ... OK, and there was the thing with the hookers and a sheep ... but we're sure as hell not quitters.
You also appear to have badly misconstrued my post. I wasn't criticizing anyone or "running my mouth" about WL competitiveness ... and frankly, if I ever feel like running my mouth, I'll go right ahead and do it and you'll just have to live with it. But you need to take a pill, man. In my post, I'm just being a homer, rooting for our boys up there and hoping they do well this season. That's it.
