elite teams did move up. and elite teams from uncapped came here. You have to remember that with teh WPL, there were lots of spots to fill. EEPL lost 12 teams this season

You are safely outleveled, where gameplanning and player builds can still win you games. The same was true when I played for the Bourbon Street Bullies in USA Pro. For a long time we were outleveled, but not by any extreme margin. We were still a top team in the conference. However, as we stuck with our lineup over many seasons, and the rest of the league upgraded, we fell so far behind by mere level discrepancy that we had absolutely no shot with our current lineup, despite extensive gameplanning and some of the best player builds the game has ever had.

Competition definitely looks to be thin this season. Zeta has become somewhat of a joke. The only teams I really see as being competitive are the following:
Bakersfield Nanananas, Slovakia Stunners, Rome Colossus, Spokane River Rats, Macedonia Marauders, and Austin Pirates.
No offense to the recent moveups, but they are all grossly outleveled and even a complete roster overhaul will not do much for them considering the major chemistry hits that would entail.
