Deal?

I don't know, I'd say that conference has the best team, but is not necessarily the best. The upcoming rounds of scrimmages should help determine that I'd say.

Dunno ZZ, I dont intend to play full strength in them, I am still gutted at losing, and trying really hard not to call fix (If only I could find something to complain about)

Look at their strength and weaknesses, their tendancies, and match it up against the Zeta teams, much better than against the Alpha team to be honest.

They were very close in 5 of their 8 losses, and they would be a MUCH better record in Zeta, because it suits their game better.

That's easy to say without looking at the top 5 teams in zeta.

you know what else is really easy to say. Zeta is obviously super deluxe stronger then alpha.. duh!!.

the arrogance

I fail to see how a team with no real depth at O-line, d-line or safety will do ANYTHING against one of the top 5 teams in zeta.

When the better teams talk trash, the worse teams call it "arrogance". There's your tip right there.

jprietman, you know I got some players on the Stampede, and a top 4 team in Alpha, I am not sure if anyone else has got that constellation to see both sides of the fence.

Although I think the Stampede got an outstanding team and there are some very good teams in Zeta as well as Alpha, I think that at least 2 if not 3 of the top 5 Zeta teams would struggle to get a home game in the Alpha playoffs, or to make the playoffs at all. Mind you, they'd have a chance, but it would not be as easy for them as it is in Zeta.

And no, I am not going to say which 2 or 3 teams I think that would be exactly

I would agree that 2 or 3 of the top 5 in zeta would struggle to get a home game in alpha. That's because if you add Woodridge to the mix, a few of the zeta teams would get that one extra loss, and it could hurt their chances for the playoffs.

However, out of the top 5 teams in alpha, only the Lumberjacks would be a shoe-in for the playoffs.

We have one player who also has a team on the stampede. We will have to see if he'll chime in on the subject. Although I do doubt he'll say anything of consequence if he does. He is a very modest fellow.

Yeah because I obviously dont look into any other team in WEPL?

I watch all the teams, and I never said any of the top 5 were bad teams, but AWC are in a very bad conference for their style of play, and its the reason for them being 8-8.

They would not have a single loss against any zeta team outside the top 6 of...
1 Houston Roughnecks
2 Reykjavík Aggies
3 Valencia Billy Goats
4 Rohrheim Stampede
5 Multiple Scorgasms
6 Oslo Berserkers

Now they beat Houston this season already, but I will ignore that because Houston probably played around with the depth chart and tactics that game.

But they match up well against Oslo, Valencia, Aggies and Roughnecks. Stampede and Scoregasms are the tougher games for them.

Now I dont think they could win against all of them, but 2 wins out of 6 I would be comfortable in predicting, maybe 3 with a little luck.

Now I can name 8 teams in Alpha that AWC have BAD match ups with and maybe 4 or 5 in Zeta.

I dont do Trash talking, and I dont throw comments out that are empty.
I watch most of the games in both Conferences, and talk to people in all the teams, so yes I think that if AWC were in Zeta they could expect to be a top 5 team.

We know MissionCoach very well. He's one of our main players. He's practically GM#2 on our team.

I know why Aggieland beat Houston, but I don't want to say anything because we're facing Houston next round.

Glad to see someone mention Oslo at last. After all, today we proved thad top 5 is actually top 6

And what can I say for Zeta
The strenght has eavened out a lot durin the season, at the start Oslo would have han no chances against Roughnecks. But we would have had a great game against Stampede. Right now Stampede is WOW, but Aggies are a bit on the slow side. We also lost Bari Baracudas to make it 7 good teams. Also Paris and Police officers came strong at the end.

But I really have no idea how they would do in Alpha.

You could never count out Oslo. They pull wins out of nowhere. Very unpredictable team.
