I dont have a problem with the players leaving. Where I have an issue is them joining teams in this league and having an effect on the playoffs.

I think one of the current players should step up and buy the team or the team should be locked until the offseason.

I'd be very surprised if that happened. Also, I'm not sure that 1 or 2 players would have that much an effect on the playoffs.

The players cant be cut!

Try cutting a player on your own teams... you cant...

go to your home page of GLB..... reading is fundamental

The trade deadline has come and gone. No trades may be made and no players besides CPUs may be cut until the playoffs are over. You may still renegotiate and sign free agents, however.

At the risk of creating havoc, since we are talking about a CPU team, there may be problematic mechanism.

That team will be empty by dinner time. I just hope our division playoff teams have enough intestinal fortitude not to sign any. The plus side is they are off our schedule.

why? if you can make your team better what's the difference between signing one of those guys and signing a guy who posts in the player's looking for a team thread?

not saying we're going to sign any of them, but I don't understand why people are so against it. if it helps your team and gets someone out of a bad situation, than why not?

I guess it is ok because you can do it. Maybe the developers should implement a lock point where newly aquired players cant be a part of the team until the playoffs are complete. I know if the Saints folded the week of the begining of the playoffs the cowboys couldnt go and pick up the players and have them play in the playoffs for them. Right now, I guess its legal, so whatever. It is cruddy that its an option and something should be done to remidie the situation.

If I wanted to I could get some pay pal money and go buy off an owner. He sells his team back and I can grab his players. Its not in the best interest of the game or our league.

No matter what the developers do, outside of the game bribery will always be possible. Personally, I can't imagine going through that kind of trouble for a game, but to each his onw.
