No one can resist the recruiting outslaught from the Gridiron Messiah!

Rhinos had no chance

Rhinos never recruited or saw him. I think our LBer corp is pretty set though...

Who?

Well, I gotta trust Steve's eye for builds... though I was going to come into this thread pointing out how shitty his bars are for a level 58 LB. Creative EQ management I guess without taking base stats high... and bars arent everything. Production speaks for itself, even if against weaker competition.

Being on his team, I can say that he has one of the better linebacker builds I've seen.

Id buy it, he was obviously very heavily recruited

The bars mean jack shit and I know it, but you can still formulate an idea based off of looking at them. Sometimes you see a new car and think its in great shape, but it has a shit engine... then next to it is an old mustang in need of new paint so you think its neglected and in need of maintence, but under the hood is a new v-8.

Looks can be decieving, I would have formulated one thought from the bars but that obviously would have been wrong.

you again- your point? you act as though Kurt will be facing players in APL that significantly outlevel those in AA. he had no issues rocking your players in AA.

Levels mean very little and he is right, most leagues have similar leveled players as pro leagues now. The major difference is the ability to gameplan at the Pro level. These teams are in the Pro league because they know how to best use the players they have. You can have a team full of 55+ leveled players, but if your gameplanning sucks you can easily lose to a team of level 48 with a solid game plan. I don't know if Brinkley will near 200 tackles this season but he will do fine.

He won't have over 120 this season and UN better hope its less than that. There is only so many tackles a guy can make and if he is making half the teams tackles for the season that means the players around him are that bad.

I don't personally believe that.

Durban (Kurt's former team) was generally successful and had a great season...and our defense was always one of the best and hardest hitting in the league. Obviously, I would rather have championships and team success rather than 100+ tackles and 15+ forced fumbles each season...but you can have both I believe. Individual success doesn't have to suffer to allow overall team success- look at sports in real life. There are a reason some professional athletes are considered among the best...while playing with other professionals.

Go check any of the championship teams and see if you find a guy with 100 more tackles than the next guy on his team.

Congrats on the 6 tackles today, of course that was while your team was getting its ass handed to them!
