haha, yeah. they normally suck until like week 10 or so. so unrealistic especially with the CPU using both AAA and Pro team data. No way to accurately reflect the change in difficulties and such.

I also agree, Brantford is better than 9th. Hell, they have given WSI the best games the last couple of seasons. A couple playoff scares for sure. They will be one of the top 4 IMO.

Thanks for putting BDR #2 but I dont know if we are that good. We shall see I guess. I think are around the #5 or #6 rating like the CPU projects but it only takes a couple upsets to go from #6 to #2.

Not even close to accurate, a couple of the AAA teams that moved up are better than the bottom ranked OPL teams from last season at the very least.

Yep. I don't remember if Tonga was in the Pros yet, or if it was triple A, but we were the established team, and our first game was against the just promoted (and very annoying) Mean Machine.

We lost by like, 70 points. Every since then I've known not to ever overlook the new teams.

Not to mention those upstart FFLW Canaanites (to later become the Banzai Pipeline 'Nites) that moved up and won 2 OPL championships in a row right from the start, then conference titles the following 2 seasons after that.

Edit: Plus the newer teams moving up have often been the result of slow building which we know is superior to most of the already existing teams several levels higher than them.

I know I am looking forward to the challenge against CCC this coming season (being D-Coord for NMI Pagan Fire Eaters). I just hope it isn't one of the early games of the season.
