1. Magnus Samuelson/Joe Cocker: Both guys have insane stats, so it's hard to choose. I feel either one deserve an MVP award.
2. JJ Flicker: Amazing stats, TD/INT ratio is awesome.
3.Mal Brown/Shane Mandrews: Brown runs for 2,000+ yds and some love along the O-line for S. Mandrews. 225 pancakes? A beast.

I think owners should submit the 5 best players from their own team for people to check out. There are only a few names that are well known.

For instance, I would nominate Steelers LT as a possible candidate. He has allowed 0 sacks all year and had 176 pancakes in the regular season. Not only that, he anchored the O-line that gave up the fewest sacks in the league (3). I'm not sure how you could do much better than that as a lineman.....

If people think your players are as good as you make them to be, then they will consider your players for MVP themselves.. There's no need to keep posting "How about we highlight our own players. In fact I'd like to nominate the entire Beans squad for MVP" over and over..

I'm not sure what you are talking about. I'm pretty sure that was the only time I mentioned someone. Maybe Steelers WR for special teams.

The funny part is that I mention Steelers LT and then on the other thread you mention him and Steelers LG, who also had a great year. Seems the self promotion thing works. The guys getting named are some of the guys who promote themselves the best (Mal Brown, George Godashian, etc). I would really have to research this alot to see who the best players are unless you just want me to look at the leaders boards...

Let me add that my team isn't interested in personal awards. We had many excellent players like Blizzard and Reid split their time when one of the could have had more personal glory. We had 3 starting centers and the 3 of them probably combined for 200 pancakes.

Lex and others also gladly substituted themselves out of blowouts in order to give back-ups some playing time rather than win passing titles.

The only award that the Beans want it to win the conference and move up.

Anything else is a failure.

The funny part is though.. Our RBs split time aswell, only they managed to be:

Mal Brown: 1st in yards, 3rd in TDs

Meilarooney: 3rd in Yards, 1st in TDs

Gotta work on your tandem i think.

if you wanna talk o-line greats, how about this one. Pancakes: 4 Linemen from Features in top 10 for pancakes through season while only allowing 4 sacks through the season.
We might not have gone all teary eyed and handed our backups playing time every time we had a 2 scoring lead. We just dominated more

And while we're at it, if you and your team claims to not be obsessed with individual honors, would you please stop promoting your own players 24/7.

The Features can do so because were not trying to act like the good guys, we want to wup people as bad as we possibly can.
"We dont want individual awards, but check these players that are almost as good"

Well guess what, you didnt get any! It is so hypocritical dude..

The fewest sacks in the league would be zero. By the Greenwood Alley Cat. Now if you are talking about the division then it would be 3 given up, tied with Birmingham.
I'm guessing that you were probably just talking about division though, most people accidentally screw up those terms.

I didn't realize the Features were so touchy. Your reactions seem a bit much for someone suggesting owners should post players who have performed well on their team, since it's tough to gauge sometimes for non-glamour positions, and then had the nerve to use an example from his team since, naturally, that'd be the one he's most familiar with.

And in case there's any grammar police on duty, yes that's probably a run on.
