What's up APL? My FS, Jello Biafra, just joined the Spider Monkeez.

ESM's feverishly trying to add a new kicker... for as flooded as the market is with kickers and not enough homes to go around, agents still seem to be picky despite the desperation.

Twice i've had agents tell me "I've recieved no other offers, but there is no way in hell im playing in Africa." Im getting tired of the bigotry. I've never had this much of an issue with anti-africa bias in the past.

We've added a few new pieces and had a little bit of turnover, but all in all I think we've improved.

Thats pretty stupid(the anti-africa thing) i have yet to here that, that kinda makes me mad...i usually only get responses from a player interested though..never someone who declines.

What morons! I hope nobody signs them!

My guess is that the anti-Africa sentiment stems somewhat from the whole Hall of Fame situation where others started to look rather stupid for trying to short change Africa. We just need to be sure to bring extra kleenex for our opponents when all the tourneys start.

EVERYONE needs to be in tourneys and scrimmages next season. Its time we showed the rest of GLB that Africa is one of the best leagues like we know we are.

Yeah... I cant fault agents from shying away from a team with ESM's record last season, though its still the pro's. When I was in AAA#1 recruiting for 6 seasons, I would always get the "sorry im only looking for Pro teams" response, now that we are here I cant find any of those guys. I typically only get a response to about 1 out of 10 PM's whether we are 14-2 or 3-13, both polite and inpolite declines and those who are interested. Most of my "success" as a recruiter has just come from using connections.
