I was also looking forward to what our Defense was capable of against Samoa.

I'm fairly sure that you'd shut down our offense; but the question would become whose defense would stop the others offense the most?

I guess I'm just a defense-first kind of person.

Are there other kinds? If so, they suck.

Thats lame, just use your starters so we can see a good game.

You go tell my backups that have been dying for PT that it's lame. We don't run this team for the the enjoyment of uninvolved parties. We run it for the fun of the members of our football team.

I think it's admirable. Like he said, it has no bearing on the seeding so why not get the backups some PT?

Agreed. It'll help depth too as backups pick up some extra XP and hopefully level.

Technically that's untrue. If Samoa and Orlando meet in the league championship, the winner of this game will get home field advantage.

Of course, I don't think anyone but Grinnell really has a realistic shot at being Alpha Champions.

The allsome-est part about this cop-out strategy is the negative implications of playing your backups in starting roles. Keep up the good fight. I can list 5 negative things that will affect your team's performance in its first round game by this strategy. Hope you thought that side out. Oh wait, you didn't.

Sorry about your morale in advance for one.

I must say I've never seen so many guys get their panties in a twist over letting some guys bench players see some action in a damn computer sim. Chill people. Our backups will be happy and the sun will still come up tomorrow.
