I am the biggest EEPL guy there is, and I will tell you EEPL is down this season. So using us as a barometer of how good SAPL is doesn't make a who lot of sense, Ub.

That said, having the Magellan Cup fall off really sucks. Everyone in GLB knew about it, and it was a great tradition. We tried something similar between WEPL and EEPL last season, and it fell apart due to a bunch of whining and bitching. Don't let the same thing happen to the Magellan Cup. It has the reputation of the best intra-league challenge in GLB. It would be a shame to let it die.

Nothing is stopping SA from organizing a challenge for the cup -- if they put in the legwork to kick things off, I guarantee there are plenty of opponents over here that would enjoy kicking some sombrero ass

Despite having a World Championship title defense yesterday, so we didnt need a title defense for another week, we went ahead and offered Mata Utu a title shot on the basis that if they win they deserve the World Championship trophy.

SA Pro offered OPL a shot at the World Championship.

How about OPL respond in kind by adding the Magellan Cup to the game?

I would be all for it, but I don't have a team here -- a few of the owners would need to step up and give this the go ahead, or voodoo could just agree.

I think this is a cool idea to keep the Cup alive if the series isn't going to be played this season (is it?).

But with the Santiago v. MUV game coming up first thing tomorrow morning, it might be too last minute to get it agreed to.
