okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.......How many times did SoIomon Grundy get pancaked against the U?

How's that WR working out for you? Oh yeah, just over HALF (that's .5 for all y'all from THE U) the receptions Wendigo (a HB) has for the season. Awesome to see you continue to build players that are amazing....

You want to start comparing my Marion the Barbarians stats to Wendigos? I think he did have a pretty good game against yall. We can also start talking about wendigos fumbling problem he has been having?

Yes, brag it up about your lvl 49 player who is currently behind Wendigo in the MVP race. SICK BURN! Wait, what's that? He's ALSO behind Wendigo in the Conference HB rankings? AND is 10 lvls higher? AND has 30 more rushes?

LXA started the same time as a lot of us. Recruiting top notch players to form a team is much harder than assembling a slow build team.

Not saying recruiting isn't hard, it sure as shit is. Seems like many of those top end players are from the same agents that were/are slowbuilding. It's harder to stick with the slowbuilding team and take your lumps rather than abandoning it and going for the high level players to get wins.

Assembling a slow build team isn't that hard. Assembling a slow build team that is going to stick around for the long haul is.

Not to mention that with slow build teams you can direct everyone to go in the same direction as far as style of football you want to play.

Randomly collecting players is much harder to get a style of play, especially year to year.

The biggest difference between a slowbuilding team and a recruiting team so far as season to season playstyle:

Slowbuild teams that stick together are pretty much relegated to one style of play, you built your players to focus on a playstyle and it's hard as hell to adapt.

Recuiting teams can adapt their playstyle to the sim from season to season by replacing a couple players here or there. Not saying that's easy (it isn't) but it gives the recruiting team much more flexibility when the sim changes.

I agree with a lot of that. There's fun in both methods.

The sim hasn't changed drastically within the last few seasons.
Let me be fairly specific what I mean by that. Builds that are successful haven't changed much within the last few seasons.
Powerbacks still still good, better than Agi backs. Which makes me sad, was building AADDP for the eventual switch back. :-\.
DEs while being nerfed which builds excel haven't changed.

Garrett Dooley would like to argue with your statement that Power backs > Agi backs. He is by far the best dot in GLB right now.

And a DE that excels now has about 1/5th the effect on the game that they used to. That's a p drastic change.

Successful builds are still successful, yes, but the level of their success has changed quite a bit and those cumulative effects add up to drastic changes in the sim.

I think the more well-rounded builds got a little boost this season. That could hurt slow builds.

With my elusive back, I had to turn him into a receiver pretty much. It's working out at least. My DE just forces fumbles now.
