Lol no. Helping the game develop and get better is more than enough reward for me. Especially with the old days of doing beta testing for money long gone.

Verloren do you think that this game could become something of a cultural phenomenon that Counter Strike and WoW have in terms of bringing together a mass number of people and being incredibly innovative?
I just think if the admins can move forward thru the next months and at the start of the 2008 NFL season people start migrating here this site will skyrocket in terms of traffic and revenue.

if your a beach player then better go intense! if you a starting player then go normal but if you need money then go relaxed!

It could in all possibility become a cultural phenom.
There are so many things that could happen between now and then, but I do have some qualms about what will happen when the 2008 season starts, even if the game has advanced incredibly in that time.

I do not think play intensity affects XP gained during games. However, playing on relaxed may get you more plays and thus more experience overall.

Check your energy bar. It will have a number in it. +3 means that for that day you gain back 3 energy.

To make things really easy, basically the lower your points are in a certain category, the more you can gain in that category. Say your speeds at 0 and your catching is a 10. When you had the option of what to train for, the speed would gain more in a day then the catching would. But if the speed got up to 10 in time, I believe they would be equal. As your stats the amount of points earned will go down.
As far as the training goes. While training hard will increase the % of points increased it also gives you back back less energy. Where this comes into play is if you don't have a lot of energy in games, you will play less, which will result in less experience points.

So here's my understanding of the whole thing.
If I have a Level 1 WR training on catching I have these options:
1. Train at Intense.
a. I gain +0.45 Catching points per game
b. It costs me $200 per day
c. I only gain +3 Energy back after a game
2. Train at Normal.
a. I gain +0.41 Catching points per game
b. It costs me $75 per day
c. I gain +9 Energy back after a game
3. Train at Relaxed.
a. I only gain +0.35 Catching points per game
b. It only costs me $10 per day
c. I gain +15 Energy back after a game
Here's what I want to know before I level up:
Since it costs more to gain skill points and everyone says that your XP per game are lower, does it make sense to play a whole season at level 1 just to gain skill points and XP? Or, is there some benefit [besides having points to make yourself a better player] to leveling up that I don't know about? My theory is that it seems like it would make sense to build your skills at the second most expensive skill point [my assumption being that the more difficult it is to gain a skill point through training, the more important that skill is to a position] for a whole season THEN level up and add your points to special abilities and the most expensive skill. In the case of a WR, for example, Agility only gains at +0.44 /game at intense while Blocking gains at +0.65. That seems to indicate that Agility is more important at that position than Blocking, right? At if that holds true, then Catching [+0.45] is only SLIGHTLY less important than Agility. So, if you train Catching all season at Intense, you could add 13.95 [0.45*31]to your catching skill points. THEN, when you level up, you could add all your bonus skill points to Agility... OR, you could choose not to level up and do a whole additional season at level 1 and gain 13.64 skill points at Agility. The other bonus SEEMS to be that you would get way more XP than if you leveled up and played at level 2.
Ugg! Decisons - decisions!

Umm.... When you get 1000 xp you automatically level up, and are level 2, and you recieve 5 stat points. No matter if you spend them or not, you recieve 5 stat points after every time you level to put into any category.
Training is just a day to day way to improve, you just have to pay attention to how much energy you have left, and that should effect what training intensity you play at.
You can't play a whole season at level one, because you get exp after training and playing games that automatically take you to level 2.
