ADD was 5 FG to 1 FG... we couldn't score a TD, which doesn't look great if we have to play them again. We haven't played BHB or COM yet. Kiev is the only team in that group that we feel we had a dominating type game against.
So, I'm not being facetious when I say I don't think we are as good as our record indicates. No joke. We feel we have something to prove EVERY GAME!
I agree 100% with you on the basis of ranking yourself. Prague is top four in the league. Without being egotistical, owner and talent wise which make up tactics and gametime decisions, I think BHB, Prague, Det, ADD and possibly GCP are up there. The other teams are significant threats, but it's all on those upper(and lower) teams to prove it and they usually do. Detroit had some issues this year that fall on me as an owner, in all honesty, we probably really "lost" two games. The others were me screwing up where I put the team in a bad spot to win. Now that I finally figured out tactics, they should roll as one big team. I hope.
Just look at the games between all of those listed teams. Most of them all are very close, but it gets worse as you go down the list.Even in this league there is certainly a tiered system but with teams steadily rising/falling until they completely slip off (ATL).
The Cheetahs are in the same boat. I don't even know where to rate my team right now. In the power rankings I sent you I believe we were third behind BHB and Prague. But that is simply based on game results and interpretations of tactics including recent games or coaching changes. Kiev slipped in my books with recent performances, GCP has slipped lately and ADD has lost to the top teams all three times they have played one. They look great at 9-3 but yet lost to BHB, Prague and the Express. We have had falling teams (Cheetahs at one point, Express now) and climbing teams (combat, ADD). No team, besides BHB or Prague in this conference can safely state their solid identity ranking wise compared to others. We all have lost games we shouldn't and probably won one as well
All in all, this is a highly competitive league where one play can have a large ripple across the league.
