I think if there were some kind of tab that would allow you to sub-out in games based on morale level (similar to the energy settings) that a lot of this could be cleaned up. We all know there is a big hit to morale when you fumble, so why not be able to sub that guy out for one or two KRs based on his morale level? Let him sit on the bench and get high fives from a few players before he gets back out there.
I think a lot of the issue also is quick scoring off fumble recoveries. Kickoff, fumble, return for a TD. Guess what happens next? That's right, another kickoff, which, since most people just have one return man on the depth chart, means that guy with horrible morale steps back on the field the very next play. If you read the definition of Monster Hit, a player with low morale is more likely to cough the ball up. It isn't specific to that SA, just to the morale.
It will kill any special teams individual stats I hoped for, but I'm tempted to start going 3 deep at KR and PR and having them sub at 98/99 so if that first guy fumbles, next play will be somebody else.
