when you chose to leave your starters in and we chose to play back-ups and play a level 4 QB for half of the game against them:

A couple more 3rd down pass completions here and there and we would have had a couple hundred more rushing yards too.

If you throw out the stats from those 2 useless games our rushing attacks are nearly the same. You guys just have a few more carries.

If we had left our level 13 at the time QB in there, we could have scored on every single possession in both games and have put up 150 points instead of 100. Does that really matter? Should we have played on HARD instead of relaxed? I bet we even could have put up even better numbers....?

The point is that we don't really care about the stats. They take care of themselves. Getting some experience points for our back-ups was more important than winning the rushing title.....you can have it. Just don't pretend that your rushing attack is that much better than ours. It isn't.

Hahaha, so if we just remove a few games from our total, we nearly have the same amount of rushing, sounds fair!

You don't really care about stats, yet you somehow find the drive to go through alot of games and stats to come up with your posts.

i realise that some of those games are going to give different results. that is why i pulled down the amout that scorring affects. and i also pushed up the effect of playing weeker opposition. so it playes more to how you do agains all the teams comparing it to others.

it is a work in process. am going to tinker it alot more to get better. and when it is alot better i am happy to send it to people that want to use it in different leagues. just needs some time to set it up well. i have had it going since game 9 but wanted to see how it works first. am looking at putting empheses on your last 4 games as well.

Congrats on beating those horrible teams by so much. Yet, you beat all of those teams by a huge score, much more than the Trolls beat them by...yet you lost to the Trolls?

So maybe a running team can destroy those horrible teams in your division by just as much, but this also proves my original point. That you can't use points scored against those horrible teams, it does not mean anything.

You beat Barecellona by 118pts, Trolls beat them by 39 pts, then Trolls beat you.
Trolls beat the Rome Gladiators by 29pts, you beat them by 87pts...yet again the trolls beat you.

There are many examples out there, proving that just because you pound a horrible team better than another good team did, doesn't mean you're better...it means nothing.

If you had done your research right, you could see, that the game was lost in overtime on an interception thrown after both teams having had 2 drives. So you're basing your posts on a game which was ended in overtime by an interception? You should try a bit harder to convince me, that we are at the same level as the Trolls are.

Pounding bad teams, why did that all of a sudden become the devil's work? We agreed, that we would do everything in our power to win the rushing title, both yards and td's, because we are a running team and winning those awards indicate that we are doing something right.

What are you actually trying to argue? I should try harder to convince you that you are at the same level as the Trolls? Are you saying that you are at a higher level than the Trolls, if so that would be a pretty big statement considering you couldn't beat them? Interception or not you did still lose right?...it's not like you beat them, you lost. I'm not for one saying that both teams aren't basically at the same level...I think both teams are relatively close, and you guys absolutely could have beat them, but you didn't.

Our owner doesn't try to molest the other team. He tries to give everyone else snaps against cpu teams and such.

To each his own. But any time a player gets more than 40 snaps in a blow out game, they are wasted snaps, because he can't get anymore in game XP past that. Where, as you could be making the depth of your team better.

Its obviously a typo dude.. He is saying that you should try harder to convince him that the features are NOT on the same level as the Trolls.

Århus Features started this season with some goals which by some others are being the statistically best rushing team. We do not have much depth on our team due to the fact that our team consists solely on RL friends.

Please do not patronize people in your posts as they make you look like a jerk.
Our game against the Trolls was ekstremely even, but in the end our QB threw and int. Which was completely fair, due to the fact that they stuffed our run and our QB does throw ints from time to time, and that is something we're working to solve.

But please notice that we have run the ball succesfully on several good teams and nothing has stopped other teams from pounding everything in sight, that is what football is all about, its about stepping up and slapping your opponent in the face as hard as you can and hopefully getting a nice trophy for it

I say we put him up for GLB president. He really does sound like a smart and savvy individual.

I think the point is that stats are meaningless as some teams sit their starters while others keep going to run up the score. All in all, stats dont mean diddly.... playoffs are just a few days away and it will be easy to tell who is "better" than who...

Frankly, I couldn't tell if it was a typo or not, his argument was all over the place. I didn't know what they hell he was getting at. It's not like I was saying that you guys weren't in the same league as the Trolls in the first place so why he was argueing that I have no idea.

As far as patronizing him...well, yes I probably was. If that makes me a jerk, then so be it. I just found it annoying that he was argueing points that I made, with points that had nothing to do with what I said.

And as far as your rushing, good for you. I'm glad that you've hit your rushing goals. But again, it really has nothing to do with the point that I was trying to make originally. Wich is, the fact that you can't base how good a team is by how badly they pound horrible teams...big rushing stats or not.

That is the only point I'm trying to make, and I'll say it again your game against the Trolls was a very good example of that. Hell, if you guys would have tied...it still would have made my point.

SoS= strenght of season
MoV= Margin of Victory (including losses)

and anything with a 4 is only in the last 4 games i.e. current form.
