oh well, it doesn't matter much anymore

altho, I kinda giggle at the idea that we were throwing the season to get demoted (doesn't make sense to me, but whatever)

I'm just looking forward to a good season this year again

I agree. I think they should be the overall favorite to win Lion without any question.

preseason means jack man.. i hold it in no way a prediction to any teams talent/Gping .. thoughts on a team imo start after a few games and or when they play a team that is worth a damn. but that's just my take on things.

I agree to a point, but complete annihilation of solid teams mean something, unless someone put their JV's in, even a shit gameplan would not result in such beatings. But go for it, pretend, or play deception through feigned naivety. Uganda is a top team, top 3 at least,, I never said the ONLY team, but certainly 1 of the best and a beast compared to nearly all of the 16, and it will show through this season.

Yeah but if you just look at the score and nothing else then you are no more informed than an owner of a team in the EC making preseason rankings. Such games of annihilation need be followed up by an explanation of why, found usually when looking over the play by play. This requires a lot of research to which some would rather go with the face value of scores to determine their opinion.

That said I dont believe anyone has directly said the Headhunters werent a top 3 team, I know I didnt. We definitely have week 13 circled on our calendars, as your team is the only team in Lion that we have lost to in the past that looks to have a legit shot at the league championship game.

Its easy to understand your point of view since you were on the plus side of the annihilations. I tend to side with it being a farce and not a barometer of the competition that we will all face this season or so I hope as I like competitive games each week.

With all that said, I wish you the best and the rest of the conference the best luck this season. I have my fingers crossed that we dont have more owners decide to go CPU mid-season and possibly fuck up the conference standings (i.e. pull a Happy Hour on the LC teams)

Hey, that Happy Hour "stunt" as you called it netted the FAlkruns $1.2M more in concessions than we would have earned. I thought it was not right from an overall perspective that they made it into the playoffs that year. Then again $1.2M e-cash can . . . um . . . by some okay equipment for one dot.

Notice the last sentence in my post "that's my take on things" it's just one mans opinion. Also note no one has ever said Uganda wasn't a team to have the ability to win a championship. I have learned tho the preseason can be a very poor measure of any teams skill. Several things can come into play in this evaluation. Just as you said above "unless a team puts the Jv in" or imo a very screwed with or mangled gp/depth chart would cause a lopsided outcome.

I do tho agree that if it is noted or else wise proved those type of things have not been done, then it would at least speak on a very simple plain of base tactics vs base tactics that one team comes out the overall clear winner then one could come away from that with a good feeling of their team's potential for a season. But then again who can all be so very sure that no tampering or sand baging has been done by there opponent. Its all in the measure of the game and how one markets their team to the competition. But i am sure you know this as well as i do. Once again this is just one mans opinion take it or leave it. I have no doubts this season we will see some stars come to shine and see some also fall to the way side. Its looks to me we will have some very nice competition and i look forward to this up coming season.

I guess what i am getting at is don't count your chickens before they hatch the preseason can be a bitch, good luck and we will see you on the field.

for the record, as you likely know, I don't have anything to do with Uganda other than respecting them, and them being a thorn in our sides, I am wondering what they ate this off season , someones babies for sure.
