Thanks for writing the pre-season post, wasn't sure who would take care of this stuff in the new league. Regarding Mongolia though, I think you meant you were giving the edge to the team who went further in the A7 playoffs. Ack didn't beat us; Surabaya beat us in the regular season & Akita upset us in the Conf. Semi-Final.

Either way they did go further and there's nothing wrong w/having them ahead at this point.

8 - Ack Attack - I'm going to do it. I'm going to say the Attack are at least partially back and somehow sneak into the 8th an final playoff spot, with a record of around 8-8 or 7-9. They are the best of the promoted teams to arrive in my view and have a nice slow build team coming along. A second tour of duty by the FB (Buster) & CB (Speedy ), brings back memories. But please, don't bring back Herb Sanders!

9 - Mongolian Horde - Another great team from A7 that has finally turned the corner and worked it's way up to AA. Was a really tough call between them and the Ack, and frankly, I gave the edge to the team that won last season's head to head battle. I expect nothing short of a playoff push from Team Mongo, right into the last week of the season.

I am a recruiter/GM for the Bayside Shakedown... I can't believe the Aggies are still alive, LOL

I'll bet Brad's happy he can run his own show. It must have sucked hard being a GM for that owner. Has that guy pulled his head out yet?

Aggies are alive & well, we won a silver trophy in S8 & as I said the 200's are fully paid for. Brad's still the d.c. in addition to owning his own team & is more mellow than you probably remember. Shame we don't play the Shakedown...could've been fun.

It's amazing... I definitely had them written off for dead. I still don't really understand how they pulled it off.

It wasn't easy cincy...I froze all spending and took over the offense. We got the #1 seed, led the conference in offense (second in the league to the gold trophy winner) Brad brought in a couple of higher level guys on defense, some other defensive players just developed very well. So we went 16-0 and won the conference. I took all the playoff revenue and poured it into the 100s & one section of the 200s, since the stadium had been neglected for so long, then begged everyone to hold off on eq. for one season after the promotion so we could finish the 200s and actually be financially stable. So we have a relatively small eq fund this year ($5 million) and we'll have all the 200s next year.

New OC for PPW here. Let me tell you, there won't be any more of this "losing" crap.

Thanks for putting the rankings together, gives a good starting point for looking around the league.

I think you highly underestimate the new teams, but if you want to make us prove our worth that's fine. Mongolian Horde looks like the strongest promoted team from A #7 on paper. I wouldn't be surprised if Mongolian or Ack have a home playoff game and would be shocked if either team misses the playoffs. The Akita's seem like they have a good shot at the playoffs as well.

Should be a fun season -- as I look through the matchups, it looks like we'll have far fewer blowout games. Can't wait!
