It's a shame that almost all the starters on that team will lose out on a full season of Vet XP.

How's so? VA exp is based on player level, not the league you're in

It matters, if you join a league that's recommended level is below your level, you lose your VXP.

I thought being over your leagues suggested level only impacted your endorsements.

Actually it affects your fame and in turn endorsements. See the link:

Could also limit some veteran abilities that are based on fame.

Hmm...did Bort change it? I swore he said players over the recommended levels would lose VXP.

Yea, that's what I thought. I understand being under the level cap affects your Fame but not exp in general.

Looks like we get first shot at them, I am quite happy. Should tell us how we matchup with some of the higher leveled teams.

EDIT: And we get Moscow right off the bat! Dream come true!

well their chemistry went down again...

They have a team chemistry of 59 right now and RMOB has theirs in the 90's. If they continue to sign and make theirs go down, I'd say RMOB have a good shot. Hard to move the ball when you're chemistry is in the 50's.

Chemistry only makes a difference when teams are close in level/builds. If you're going to get your butt kicked, even if the opponent has low chemistry you're still going to get your butt kicked.

I think the amount of VA goes down if you're outside of the recommended levels.

Last season my SS (who is now retired) was over the recommended level, and his VXP was going up slowly, certainly not the 200 VXP per day that FAQ's talk about.

Well, I think we can give them a game. Some of their builds aren't too impressive.

i'm a firm believer that chemistry plays a big part in games when one team's chemistry is low. we lost to several lower leveled team last season due to the fact that we played the entire season with really low chemistry.

Chemistry is definitely a factor, tactics and builds are more important but if a 40-50 point difference in chemistry can be the difference between winning and losing to a similarly talented team.

agreed

I must also admit, that there were a few positions we didn't have good builds and my tactics probably weren't the best IMO. LOL

You definitely have a good team. I think in Bucharest's massive reloading, they just got who they can grab and ended grabbing a few really poorly built players.

That may be true, but they are better than the poorly built players we got rid of. ;-) And we actually added some guys with decent builds this time around. And everyone isn't inactive either!
