I was not referring to any specific team but speaking generally about scouting bars. Maybe...just maybe...you'll understand that with a 14th or 15th read.

I did and was speaking of a specific team....since they were the ones used in head's example.
I know what you were trying to do, it didn't work. Now focus.

Doesn't explain why you quoted my post...so yes, it did work. I know what you were trying to do, and you failed miserably. Good luck next time.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1130&team2=4352 Seriously? Teams this level should be 54 overall easily.
The more i look at some of these teams film and their bars the more i have to agree with GMath that someone like the Transformers or another top team from below will shock everyone.
Add to all of that I dont see any of those teams with management with experience above the low level leagues.
Should they do well with their levels? Yes they should dominate, but I dont think they will.
Since you are using the Wizards as an example here, then I'm going to point out that you should do some more homework, and realize that "bars" don't mean anything. I expected more out of you head....
I picked them because i would expect them to be the best team since they were the most vocal in other threads and he picked the Aggies in the OP and they played each other the last game of the season so i clicked that . I saw their roster, and thats another reason i dont see them as a top 4 team. None of the "top 4" are over 51 overall. Even if they had a normal roster i dont think they would.

Glad to see you still disrespecting .50 after we proved you wrong last season.
Let me quote you from last preseason:

I think the chubby wizards are probably #1 right now, with the beasts and buffalo trailing close behind. The aggies have a pretty crappy scouting bar, i have a feeling its a lot of high level guys with garbage builds. i didnt realize the wizards were stacking too, i thought it was just us and the buffalo so i started signing lower level guys toward the end so the league would stay fairly competitive hopefully we can still take them
i think 50 cal had the toughest defense in the league last season, if they were a little stronger on offense they could be a very good team

Memphis Aggies:
Starting Levels O: 34.8 D: 34.4
Backup Levels O:19.4 D: 20.8
Only players worth a damn are the owner's players, and they appear to be at best average built. They were obliterated every time the played anyone decent last season. I doubt this team wins 10 games this season.
Bucharest Beasts:
Starting Levels O: 30.4 D: 29.6
Backup Levels O: 20.9 D: 24.2
3 WRs, 2 DEs and 4 CBs could spell trouble. Nothing about this team makes me think they'll dominate.
Chubby Wizards:
Levels don't mean too much for these guys, but they aren't substantially above the new teams. This team was obviously built with a purpose, Run the Ball. With the sim this season likely anti-run, they'll struggle imo.
Buffalo Reverends:
Starting Levels O: 32.7 D: 32.3
Backup levels O: 24.5 D: 24.1
A lot of depth questions. CPUs litter the roster. I see a ton of glaring weaknesses that I won't go into, but if their level 37 CB is an example of the rest of the team's builds, they'll be a bad again.
That is why I think you take a simplistic view of your analysis. Their levels aren't 10+ by any stretch of the imagination and all these teams have holes and weaknesses. We'll see soon enough, but I'd be completely shocked if those 4 teams end up 1-4.

Judging from last season in EE A1, I would say that at least one team from the BBB's gets in the top 4.

Disrespecting .50? You didn't read HH. I said repeatedly to look out for 50 because they have proven to be a quality club.
Also, just to remind you, we beat you 26-3 last season, and you couldn't even manage 200 yards of offense:

The only thing that plays to those teams advantage imo is early boosting for them and the teams coming up not so early on if they face promoted teams they might have a 10 level advantage but come playoffs they wont have that advantage and there will be upsets in the playoffs, book it, quote it, doesnt matter.
I just know there are some outstanding GMs coming into this league and looking at film from the teams still here, the promoted teams have a huge advantage in that department.
Glad season 9 is here, lets get some sims going!

Definitely. My money is on this league being between Kaunas and the Transformers by season's end.

I read all that. But since before our league even played a preseason game you've underestimated us - remember making the statement I quoted? Not only did we finish higher than I ranked us, we also finished 1 place away from you.

You can make the argument that I'm underestimating you, but not that I'm disrespecting you. I did no such thing. I did not let any personal impressions of owners/gms influence the rankings.
You did finish one place away from us, but got bludgeoned by us, and destroyed by the team we beat to get to the championship game. 1 place hardly meant very much if those were the results.
