I'd like to take this opportunity to say GL to a few teams.

Number Two on my list is the Torpedo Cowthorpe. I'm not sure if Mattlee still makes it onto this forum anymore, but if he does I'm sure we'll feel his presence with the first "Torps FTW" thread which is due any minute now. GL this season.

Number Three on my list is the Hiedelberg Hitmen. They are truly deserving of their promotion and are definitely a classy organization whom I have a lot of respect for. GL this season.

Number Four on my list is the Manchester Spartans who are sure to rain down all kinds of fire, brimstone, and bloody body parts on the rest of the conference. Take it easy on us this season.

Lastly I'd like to say GL to the rest of the teams that got promoted this season. May the teams with the nastiest Nosebleed-type players, AI settings, and best random rolls win.



Thanks. We plan on screwing up our AI as much as possible again in season 9. In fact I will only be game planning for one game. Get ready Cowthorpe, we are coming for you.

+1... Odd that we're the only BBB2 team in Alpha while the rest are in Zeta. Bunch of new teams to play, but that's exciting.

I know.....I find it funny that the last 4 teams in the Alpha playoffs got promoted but not Zeta's.

I really thought you guys and the Immortals would be gone.

Anyway, GL this season. I would definitely think say you are not a lock this season for Zeta, but would consider you guys the #1 seed.

I'd like to welcome Belfast and Mount Vesuvius to the big kids table, and welcome Motorcity over to the dark side.

I agree that the Hitmen are a classy organization and I am glad they got promoted. I can't honestly say they deserved the promotion since they didn't win the league title though. I think they lost to a team called the Barcelona Bulls who went on to win the League Championship game by a score of 67-10.

I am glad the Hitmen got promoted though as now we can have a friendly rivalry They are a very good team!!!

And I agree about Zeta (and Alpha now), nothing is a lock. Should be a very good year.

Luckily you don't have to win the league title to get promoted or a lot more people would quit this game, and that would be bad for Bort's income.

Thanks for the welcome MCG and the nice shout out. The Hitmen are excited to be in WEA1. GL to all the teams in A #1 this season; And I'm sure THUNDER GOD can provide a few nose bleeds along the way.

I think we have done a pretty good job of upgrading at Manchester and still have a bit to go. We will know soon if it all pays off

Builds, gameplanning, strength of opposing teams, a lot of factors.

Can't wait to get the season underway. The Defens are coming together well.
