Considering you cant manually make yourself a GM once you are an owner your point is moot. The people who are both team owner and GM are the people who were GMs on teams that were dropped/sold by the owner and that player is the one that took it over. Dont get me wrong, I enjoy getting 2 trophies but I keep myself as both because it shows that Ive put my time in with this team to get to where it is.

My point isn't moot because you have the ability to remove yourself from the GM slot right? Being a GM and taking over a team is fine, it keeps teams together and prevents them from going CPU. Using your justification, you think your time and dedication is worth more than owners that got CPU teams? I like getting trophies as much as the next person, but I take pride in every one of mine (yes, I have 2), knowing I earned them. Exploiting a glitch in the system to get a couple extra trophies seems like going to a garage sale, buying a used one and putting your name on it. It may impress other people, but it is only an illusion.

what youre saying is that NOT removing myself as a GM is exploting a glitch? And honestly I like seeing that they are a GM and owner if I join a team because it says to me they had experience on the job before being the owner. Ive been on some terribly run teams(mine was one when I first joined) because the owners had no experience whatsoever, they just thought itd be cool to own a team. I see where you are coming from but I dont think its anywhere close to as gay as the death ray.

Having a GM trophy (same team or different), from a season prior to owning a team says as much.

Frankly, it don't make a difference to me, I only said what I did because I was in a sarcastic mood.

It is amusing how much people get worked up over the death ray.

Snaza didn't remove his tag, because he thought it was funny and to be honest, I do too. It shows an error in the coding of the site and until they fix it or he decides he doesn't want to be the owner, it will stay that way. I would do it too, not for trophies, which I guarantee isn't his goal, but for the pure entertainment of people's reactions when they notice it.
