Yeah. I thought the game was over when we fumbled the first time. I was shocked that we won while losing both the turnover and yardage battles. I have to give props to our defense for coming up big when we needed it. That was the difference in the game.

Honestly, I think you guys are still the better team. We won "today"..

I am one of the NITES that has been fighting for us to pass more just to keep the game fun and unpredictable. Ask the team. We have had some heated battles on our board.
The game is what it is. We did what we had to do to give us the best chance today. EVERYONE knew it was coming.

Good game and much respect from me. Im sure you guys will put together another amazing streak. Hats off to that accomplishment.

Its all good. You guys earned it. Slam or be Slammed (someone just said this on the main board) is Season 8's motto. You did it better than us. And its ok losing to an OPL team as to another team like Halifax from CPL (Making our back to back victories over them sweeter).

We would have liked the title, but hey, cant win em all. Hope to see you guys defending it next year in the final.

Also, nobody here should have to defend the gameplan by either team. Both teams passed the same amt of times. Both teams knew what the other was going to do. This is Bort at its finest.

I dont think either team has to defend how they got here this season. Both WSI and The NITES have a combined 8 (WSI 3 and NITES 5) OPRO title games. Its not like either team randomly got here because of ISLAM.

Great game, guys. I'm still lamenting that missed kick at the end. I thought we might just do it seeing as our passes to get there were taking like 3 seconds each.

I was actually surprised at how not boring the game was. It is not like either team was surprised by the game plan of the other.

The ultimate irony is that the "OPRO Islam Bowl" was won with a 55-yard PASS at the end of the first half. Without that play, WSI wins 23-21 instead of losing 24-23.

In spite of us both feeling compelled to go Islam all damn game, I thought it was one of the more entertaining games of the season. (I just pray to God that next season provides us all more opportunities to get creative.)
