Hey buddy. Not much, just wasting some time at work like the old days. I really should be doing some stuff but this economy is killing everyone and no one wants to spend money anyways so pretty much just sitting here with my thumb up my ass right now thinking of what the fuck I can do.

#3 Miami Makos v #7 Atlanta Wolves
Looks like the City of Miami will be hoping tomorrow, hosting 2 playoff games. Give a lot of credit to Atlanta for making playoff adjustments and saving some of their tactical planning for the big game. The Makos pulled away from the Hawks early with an opportunistic pass D and survived a late charge. The Makos achilles heel this season has been the aforementioned pass D, but can Atlanta take advantage? Atlanta pulled off a 20-17 upset first time around and have the horses to do it again, but I like Miami to loosen up the run with the pass. Miami 21, Atlanta 13.

I won't tell you good luck, so here's to a good game Makos. You guys have been fun to compete against over the seasons, regardless of today's winner.

As to the other Miami's game, I'm gonna root for Red River. No offense Ron, I see the Hammerheads as the best team in the east so I'm pulling for the underdog. Besides, if you move up to AA4 I won't get another shot at you for a while

The 15 seems to be doing fine in the higher leagues. NBSK is a juggernaut, Gulf State will probably win it next season, and both Miami's plus Houghton dominate the east down here. I'd say the 15 has been represented!

Red River came up with a novel game plan to take out Montana in the minor upset--no credit should be taken from them for coming up with a good plan.

A novel plan? A good plan? They used a game exploit to beat us. Ain't no novelty or good gameplanning there.

I appreciate that the Montana guys are upset, but please do the rest of the league a favor and keep the thread on subject. Tex has done us all a great service with his predictions, and I'd like to be reading about the upcoming games, not rehashing the bash fest that two other threads cover. No offense Bos, not trying to ruffle any feathers, but let's either move on or keep it in the threads already taken over by that subject.

Haha, nice job Vegas! I didn't think CI would get beat but you guys pulled it off. Props to you!

Good game Makos as well. Our glaring weakness came back to haunt us big time. We absolutely suck on special teams. You guys did good though and took advantage of it, and had a few key stops on our long drives, so congrats. That KO fumble to open the third quarter killed us. I think the momentum was in our favor up until then, but that just crushed us. Mr Q has had fumble issues all season and we couldn't get it fixed, but that's how it goes. Give RR hell fellas
