Well I guess you would expect humor out of MaRAWK!!o and BSS took care of some of that. I will add that we will name the MaRAWK!!otron 6000 nfratami's Window.......

I am disappointed he is leaving myself. I enjoyed his posts and all the shit he and D3 talked while getting on each others nads.

A good player and an entertaining personality. To be honest he belonged on MaRAWK!!o. Just never oculd get him to come over and play with us. We even offered him fist choice of the female goats.

It is sad to see that the lack of QC in this game is driving people away. As a DC for a couple of teams I can say that i have had to try and defend the Strong I Blast and it is damn near impossible to stop even if you put everyone right there. I mean give me a decent ROT, good blocking TE, a good blocking FB, and a semi decent PB and I could win a ton of games...... There are a lot of people on here that if these issues are not addressed and quickly that by season 10 this place will be a ghost town.

I am with nfrat and want to see this be more about your planning and skill and level vs the same. I have no plans to head out as most of my enjoyment from this game comes from hanging with all you miserable bastards and seeing what we can post to each other. Talking the occasional smack. Having a you tube video smackdown war and just in general providing some humor where I can.

So for all of you guys left. Hey just keep one player and hang out in the forums. It is not like they are locked down plus we can have a lot of fun just bitching about the game as I know we will have ample opportunity to do over the next seasons.

The dots are the least good part of this game.

Sometimes you lose and it sucks. MaRAWK!!o is honestly in a better place right now because of it. We got to make a ton of money the next season due to fan support and now our stadium is complete. We even named the visitor's bathroom after Ocho Cinco (The Ocho Stinko Visitor's Bathroom)!!!!

In all fairness though C85 didn't beat you with the flavor (exploit) of the month.. the rng got your ass and a shit load of luck, plus praying to Jobu (along with some rum and sacrificing an entire kfc original recipe goat). Really C85 got hosed by getting pulled up to AAA this season. We made the best of it (http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=394781 ) but really could have gotten so much more money by staying in AA one more season.

I understand Nfrat's frustration but.... kinda like owning 5% of a company. Unless you own 51% you really don't own dick. Nothing forced all of us to be dumb and spend money on this damn beta game so... whatever. Really when you spend as much as we all have and you don't just walk away. Maybe he won't post anymore but I can't really see him leaving tbqh.

i've been down a lot this season. certain aspects of the game feel more like a chore than a fun way to spend my time. i'm nowhere near ready to bail, im just gonna retire some players and not spend any money for a while. i know bort wants this fixed as badly as we do (more so i'm sure) and we'll get a new look for season 9.

The game will change in Season 9. It always does, some for the good, some for the bad. The major problem area is going to be implementation of the defensive play creator, which just seems rife for abuse and exploitation from the get go. Coupled with the fact that the offense is not going to get a similar weapon, this will no doubt wreak havoc on player satisfaction.

Add to the mix that most players are starting to approach the 10th season and you could see the makings for a perfect storm of account cancellations/nonrenewals.

I am actually amazed that he's bringing the D-play creator online when the sim is still not where it needs to be yet. The guy is a programmer who really needs a good producer to help him assess risk, and say "Hey, let's not overextend ourselves. Fix one thing at a time, get it really right first, before introducing the potential exploits from user input."

This is really nuts. Finish eating one course before you move on to the next.

By the way, nfrats' user page indicates he was last on 3/31 (yesterday)... a the day after he "quit" - so maybe forever isn't really forever? It's not like he's retired his players.

You guys out-planned us significantly. You figured out exactly what we were going to do and stopped it. Now if we played that exact game a hundred times I think we would have won most of them (I own the team, what do you expect me to think?), but honestly I have no idea and it doesn't matter as we only played once!!!! In addition I should now include that the fact that you continue to beat us is part of the entertainment of the game (and also disputes my theory that we would win more of the 100 games).

But I BELIEVE the reason we lost was we got out schemed and that is the key difference between what we think and what The Greats think about their game. You could make an argument that they were out schemed also.

But my point is you have to roll with it because D3 is correct (like always). We are here to enjoy ourselves. I honestly enjoy playing The 85ers now. You guys got jammmed up pretty bad getting pulled up here and great work this season.
