If they don't have enough to cover the team cost, they keep their spot on the list, but they just get passed over.

Love it. Thanks Bort. I would just have 1 inquiry? Are you also going to slim down the extensions to 2 seasons maximum? That wa skciked about and it sounded like a great option so the "dead" teams clean out a bit faster also. Just curious what your take was on that aspect.

Like you can only buy up to a total 4 seasons at a time? Haven't thought about it, TBH.

Doesn't seem like it solves much, since the owner can go inactive and lose his team anyway.

Oh I understand the rule, it's just a dumb side-effect of it, that legit teams who just happen to not have 40 players (but still have plenty of depth) have to do that.

I really like the idea bort. When do you thing this waiting list will come out?

Another question .. similar to Asheme's

If a team were sold back and then offered to the first person in line, could they get a chance to review it and possibly turn it down without losing their place in line. I only ask this because a team could have been stripped of all its top players and replaced with lower level or CPU players before being sold back.

I realize that the new teams would be all CPU to begin with but that would not be fair to the lower level players who were signed just to hold a roster spot as the team was gutted -- only to have it sold to an owner who would cut them for higher talent. It may be the reality of the business but I think a review for the potential buyer would allow him to decide if this was the team he really wanted.

I guess maybe when you buy, you can extend then. I am not an owner, so not totally sure, but ya. It would initially be for 4 season, but after that, limit it to 2 seasons. Like I said, not to many "aged" owners were in that discussion. So, just curious, wanted to see how you felt. Thanks.

How do you have plenty of depth with less than 40 players?
