Cruise control was tweaked this year (without any official comment)...the number of close games increased (and I don't think its purely a case of closer grouped teams).

the thing is i don't think we're THAT much better...i think we caught a couple early breaks to go up 21-0 so fast and that put us in cruise control mode...which i think kinda ruined the whole game

I don't know. You could honestly see the drop off right after the third TD was scored. It was really really noticeable.
