there are 3 games left to played and 2 of those games are against teams with winning records and winning streaks ( just like us ).

Cheers bdogg, we're embarrassingly happy with the loss

regarding actual power rankings:

what do people think of;

1 Permian Panthers
2 NFLUK Manchester Fire
3 Grass Root Divots
4 Madrid Tigers
5 Húsavík Whalers
6 Hamburg Lightning
7 A Team of Ice and Fire
8 London Bridges
9 Copenhagen Cheetahs
10 Stockholm Assassins
11 Lyon Demons
12 Hamburg Firestorm
13 Berlin Spartans
14 Porto Billy Goats
15 Atlanta Conchords
16 Yorkshire Blades

We aim to knock off NFLUK Manchester if we can, but it's pretty tight between 2, 3 and 4 - whilst Permian have a superb O-Line.

Those rankings look good. We are really going to have to be on our toes as I'm sure the remaining teams we play will be gunning for us.

I rate AToFaI a lot and think they could be the surprise team in the play-offs. They're only the second team to hold the Panthers to one score. They don't have any star players but they've got a lot of depth and consistency. The advantage of starting with lots of low level players at the start of the year is that they catch up on the rest (relatively speaking). I can see them making a splash in the play-offs and contending next year (hopefully the Panthers will be promoted out of the Conference )

I don't know how promotions work. I think only the league champion gets promoted but I could be wrong. I know my coaches won't be looking past anybody. It's going to be a battle till the end.

you forgot that they have to get in front of us to make the playoffs - i could be wrong but as long as we win 1 game there is no chance for them. And we play a team with a losing record next.

No, they don't. It's the top eight into the playoffs.

There are a couple of teams in our division with the talent, but not the results. If we'd lost to AToIaI then it's possible the Divots would be in a similar position. Fortunately we won our opening game and have been able to maintain that role despite losing to Manchester.

We have one of the easier run ins after having the hardest opening 10 games in the division (actually I think there was one of the other teams in the top 8 at the time who had had a harder start...might have been AToIaF in fact).

Does anyone know how promotions do work?

I'm not sure but I think it's only the winner of the Zeta-Alpha final who gets promoted.

I think it's actually both teams who go up, though I stand to be corrected.
