I don't know where you looked at the stats, but you are wrong:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/team_stats.pl?league_id=103&conference_id=206&stat=other&sort=points_scored&playoffs=0

PtsScr
1. The Hague 1730
4. VCA 1403

Even if VCA makes the 255 which I assume they will do, that makes 1658, even if Hague doesn't score a single point they have already locked the nš1 seed.

That's why we are not gameplanning at all for this game. It's pretty useless...

You have the VCA's right but the Pirates have scored 1579

but you are right my math was off, if the VCA put up 255 that will give them 1658 so the Pirates will need to score 79 points or more if they lose.

I mean double check my math, but this is what I have

Pirates Points Scored
Game 1 -72
Game 2 -79
Game 3 -20
Game 4 -70
Game 5 -125
Game 6 -64
Game 7 -252
Game 8 -87
Game 9 -117
Game 10 -255
Game 11 -56
Game 12 -76
Game 13 -24
Game 14 -203
Game 15 -79
Total 1579

Doesn't really matter to me. The Scourge are playing which ever one of you finishes 2nd. And the ass whooping will be just as severe regardless of which one of you that is. We are just going to try and stay within 6 TDs of you guys.

Me too

Then double checked it on a calculator.

Then did it again on a new excel sheet to make sure I got all the right scores.

If the Pirates want to keep their #1 spot they need to win. I can't see them scoring 80 points in a loss.

The real question now is, Does Kel bother to have the Bocs game plan? Doesn't matter to the Bocs, but I am sure that Power and the VCA would like them to try and pick up the win.

The other three games are going to pretty much gonna be ass whoopings. I know the Scourge are currently far more focused on our plans for next season, then we are about the playoffs this season.

This time I hope there will be no big turnovers, thats gonna decide the game.

we can score 255 and it counts towards the total so we are not mathamatically out of it but if you guys are not gameplanning for Pirates we will start gameplanning for Blackpool...Scourge see ya at THE JUDGEMENT SEAT....

What i mean is...if the computer goes by the box scores we can go over their box score by putting up 255...

Game planning for what?

Do you mean game planning as in what kind of spead you will have to celebrate your victory after the game?

You should just run it every time, so the score stays respectable and the clock moves quicker.

Then there is something wrong, because on the official stats of the game they appear with 1730 and that's the reason why we didn't pay any attention to this game.

Maybe this is a bug and should be mentioned.

PS- I have done the maths on an excel sheet as you all have mentioned with all 3 teams scores and it's true that probably if we get the win VCA will move to number 1 and Hague to number 2. It doesn't change a lot to us though, but I want to be fair with the Vatican guys as they have been class opponents.

One would assume you'd gameplan just to have a good game, or atleast knock us off our undefeated streak before post season starts.

That is because amazingly enough the Pirates put up 406 points against the Stallions.. Only 255 of those points actually count I believe.

406-255 = 151

1579 + 151 = 1730

That is why there is a difference in points. But I am almost positive the max points you can have count towards the tie breaker is 255 per game.

You would be wrong there good sir. The score only goes up to 255, but every point does count.

Actually I was more kind of thinking on giving a reward to our bench guys for a good effort this season and also preparing some stuff for the playoffs, rather than working my ass out to beat you, even if that means break your streak. I don't mind stats, I've never done it and never will. I think this is a team sport and each player plays an important role whether it's reflected or not on the stats. Moreover, going 16-0 means nothing comes playoff time and you know as if you go back two seasons the almost "un-beatable" chuck were beaten hardly on the playoffs by a Warsaw team which finished 6th if I remember well.

The difference between the top 3-4 teams is so minimal that every detail will count on the final day.

So, just to clear things up. What's the real tiebreaker value, the one from summing up all the scores from your games or the score that appears on the official boards of the game?
