I'm curious if any of the top teams are getting less VXP each day like Bort said was going to happen for being over the recommended cap. Would be kind of nice to see if it's actually working or not

Just about every player (outside of one agent's) was already on our team before this season, so it didn't really affect us.
We really should've been promoted last year. I mean, we did finish third in the conference. All of our losses were by one possession or less. Two of four were on field goals that we didn't have the AI set up to kick. One was on an INT for TD in OT. One was in a game that forced Bort to redo the logic for Timeouts at the end of games.

It's not the team, it's the individual players that take that hit.
And I wouldn't know, since my guys are level 34 and 35, respectively - well within the recommended levels

Yeah it did. It's in the change notices. We were calling all of our timeouts at the end of the game even though we were tied. It let them get the ball back for some retarded reason.

Don't hate on the level, guys. This LB played on a USA pro team last season and racked up 87 tackles and 11 sacks. He's just a really good player. If the RB could hold onto the ball it wouldn't be a problem. Boost the carry attribute.
The guys that are building their RB's not to get hit are getting exposed against a LB that is just as quick as they are. 29 victims and counting.
Every team in the league with the exception of these guys it seems has a few players that are 40+.

We were a hair's breadth from being promoted last season - literally - we were the 4th best team in A4, and 3 got moved up. We got better in the offseason not only because we leveled up, but because peeps who had been with us for a while figured out that we were a tight family, and wanted their other players on our team too, because JT isn't going anywhere, and peeps wanted to be in a stable situation that was moving forward.
So not only did our players get higher level (most of the original Niners are 32-38 now) but we also got some help. If you really want to cry and whine about how we're so much higher level than everyone else, fine. I hope you never have to deal with the heartbreak we had last season, nearly moving up but just missing the cut because other teams in the same league recruited just a little harder, and some brought in some serious ringers, just to beat you to that promotion spot.
Right now, we're enjoying the EEA tournament, because it's pitting us against the toughest competition in A leagues, and we're enjoying the scrimmages against AA teams, because it gives us a measure of where we're going to be next season, and we're definitely amped about the playoffs, where we'll get the chance to add some hardware to the trophy case before we move up.
Hate us all you want, it's cool. I hope you're not in our shoes the season after next, where you just missed getting promoted and then have a team that's "over-leveled"

Well, we have the game against Athens, then we have another intercontinental championship type thing if we win that, plus the playoffs, so it's a tough time of the season.
